Underwire or no underwire
Ladies,
one of my close friends has had BA just over 8 weeks ago now, her surgeon has told her that if she doesn't want to have to have another BA in around 10 years time then she should stay clear of underwired bra's.
i would be intererested to know your thoughts on this subject as i have my BA in 2 weeks time and wonder what is the best way to support my new twins after the 6 weeks sports bra stage.
Thanks Ladies

Re: Underwire or no underwire
It will be up to you, Your friend will need a re op one day as nature just made it so that skin elasticity lessens as we age and gravity gives it a helping hand. So whether she wears underwire or not, she may still need an op in 10 years due to sagging or CC. So it's up to you really.
Re: Underwire or no underwire
Can the implants stay in as long as you want them to, if you feel happy with them?

Re: Underwire or no underwire
As long as there is no problems with them, some people have them 15-20 years, but I got to be honest it's probably gonna need re doing in 10-15 years.

Re: Underwire or no underwire
misf is right, the general rule is to expect to have a reop in about 10-15yrs time, anything over that is a bonus so i think just go with what you want to wear tbh. i've been given the all clear to wear wires now but find its not really comfortable enough for longer periods of time yet so i save them for when i'm going out. i have to say though it seems an odd thing to say, that wires will make it more likely she would need an earlier replacement, did your friend ask her PS why this was the case? xx

Re: Underwire or no underwire
I would hate to think!! Presumably she thinks she looks good? I don't know.....what I do know is that if I still have implants at that age, I'm gonna be eating a LOT of food to make sure I have enough flesh that they look better than that!!
Can I ask a cheeky question = is that all you in your picture or do you have a push up bra on? I had 280cc from a 34b and I don't look that good!

Sorry for putting you off your dinner! I have to go now. Child throwing a tantrum over his homework so I should probably stop doing this for a bit and play mum!

Re: Underwire or no underwire
Thats me with pink hair at 43! Yep 43 with pink hair. I think the key to looking younger when you get older is to put a bit of timber on and you will look bang tidy. As it fills out ur skin. Some advice for the lady in the picture should také. Why hasnt anyone told her to maybe wear an all in one swimsuit. Oh dear!
