Yay the day has finally come, to have these horrible stitches out! cant wait to have a shower after what seems like a month! (9 days)
Ive just been trying on my old bikinis (wow) they look great as before my boobs were lost in them! stitches out 2moro :) 923101

... Also just wanted to thank all the girls on here that have gave me support and lots of advise, im sure ill be asking plenty more questions in the future xx

Glad you're going to be able to have a proper shower hun, you shud exfoliate, get some yummy smelling shower cream and really treat yourself... Stars

I showered on the 1st morning in the clinic, and I don't think I have any stitches to come out so I am baffled why some do and some don't..
shrug

Mind you I moved more than I shud and caused myself pain so it may be for the best that you have rested xx

I have defo done to much, ive felt it the past two days where the stitches are... yes its weird, some girls have had desolvable ones, just cant wait it seems ages now!!
Oh and yes im seriously going to treat my self to a lovely long shower stitches out 2moro :) 727935

Hey hun, enjoy your shower tomorrow. It will be the best one you've ever had in your life. As for stitches it's so much nicer having ones you can have removed as they tend not to get infected or split, or not dissolve and work their way out scareing you to death.

misf1 you've just reminded me about some stitches that didn't dissolve after an op I had last year, it was pretty weird when they started working their way out of my leg!

Lindsaylouise enjoy your shower tomorrow I spent ages in mine when I was allowed one

Yeah I had them in my mouth after I had my wisdome tooth out, I kept picking bits out when I was eating my mashed potato or Jelly. Looked like I'd been chewing spiders legs stitches out 2moro :) 557141

and felt like I was chewing shoe laces.
