to show or not to show
I just wondered??
Another one sorry girls but...
how have you felt since you got your new babies!! are you proud to show them off or do you keep them for yourself...I can't wait to go away somewhere and show them off a little as so far I have kept them under wraps. I have only told my family and close friends and don't get out to play so much these days.
Any stories!!!

Re: to show or not to show
hiya hun, this is quite embarrasing but at about 3 weeks post op i went to a friends and had a little too much to drink and ended upgetting mine out to everyone at the party!!! I just wanted to show everyone!! BUT, after a couple more weeks, when they started to feel like mine (rather than a set of implants) i became really protective over them and have been ever since! I love that i can wear more revealing tops when i go out but the only people that get to see them in the flesh now is me and hubby!
I certainly wear lower cut tops more often than not now, i mean, i paid a lot and iaint getting any younger so its finally time to feel proud of my body! :)

Re: to show or not to show
I have kept them covered and have worn loose tops for the first few weeks but lately I am wearing more low cut or tight ones, it's great to have boobs!

Re: to show or not to show
I'm confident to wear nice little tops out (when its warm!) and I dont mind showing my boobs to my sister or friends, I showed my beautician them but was wearing a bra the other day, i think it gets easier the longer you've had them
Re: to show or not to show
I feel silly but I am kinda apprehensive about wearing a bikini with my new boobs on show when that was a driving factor to get them done!
My fella and you girls who have seen my pics are the only people to have seen them and Im still a little self conscious about the whole affair but I think thats just my personality as I am still taking time to adjust to the new me.
Who knows maybe in a few months Ill be Wahay !

Re: to show or not to show
I've shown two of my sisters, my mum and two close friends, but that's it. (Oh an OH of course!!!)
But I did something a couple of weeks ago that I never dreamed would be possible. I was in a sports changing room, and I took my bra off with other people in the room - with my back turned - but even so, that was a first for me!!!!

Re: to show or not to show
Hmmmm.....I'm struggling with this a bit and I feel really silly after wanting boobs all my life. Now I finally have them and I should be showing them off but I'm scared to! When I go on a night out I'm paranoid that people can see a difference and that people will notice I've had a ba...but wasn't that the point in the first place???!!!
I love my boobs but am so worried about people finding out I've had a ba that I'm almost wearing less revealing tops than I used to. Maybe I'll lighten up about the whole thing when I'm more used to them!

Carrie, Im so glad its not just me who feels that way. Im taking a bit of time to adjust - my flat chested brain hasn't caught up with my new boobie body yet!
We'll get there in the end I hope.

Re: to show or not to show
Interesting topic - my friend who had a BA said that she feels that now they are quite big (DD) she is a bit shy about them and covers them up a bit, wearing scarves etc..
I really hope I don't feel that way (tho there's no chance they'll be too big with 220s..!) as I really want to forget about camouflaging myself any more (ie padded bras, chicken fillets, choosing clothes for a flat chest etc.)
I say girls go get 'em out! You all look fab and should be proud!

Re: to show or not to show
Yes I was hoping all that was over with too....but today I was perfectly happy at home doing the housework and all those things you need to catch up with at the weekend with my low cut tightish little short sleeved jumper on listening to my cd's really very happy with how they were looking...then had to nip out to Tesco... so what did I do...put on my jacket with a scarf...it does take a little getting used to and now the warmer weather is coming will have to try to be braver and just let them out

Re: to show or not to show
How funny, i went to my mums for the first time today and had my mac and pashmina on and the first thing my dad said was "bloody hell luv anyone would fink it was cold out there" My hubby and i looked at each other wide eyed and and quickly changed the subject. I had a very baggy batwing style jumper on just to hide them and thank god none of my family noticed, apart from my sniggering brother in the background who knows i have had them done! My husbands mum and dad both know and both think that I have made a good decision in having them and the size that i have chosen. My mum is naturally a 36f and thinks they are the bane of her life, she also thinks i have body dismorfia or something! When it comes to going out for my first night out i am not sure yet how i am gonna feel to be honest....this is a really good subject lol

Re: to show or not to show
I don't want anyone who i havn't told to guess, so i do cover them up a little. However i really would love to show them off to everyone!! I would definately go topless if i was on holiday (not in Blackpool!!!! ha ha!!) If any of my friends asked to see them i would show them with pride.
I am so excited about them i keep looking at myself in the mirror and making my husband look at them every other minute!!!

Re: to show or not to show
I wanted mine to feel better about me, which I most definetly do, I think I will still wear the same type of clothes etc. but just feel and look much better in them. However, in saying that, I am aware of them with my son's and brothers, but think it is just me knowing they are there. None of them have said anything to me, they are not that noticable in clothes, but I know they would be astounded if I had told them, thinking I am
In saying that if they did mention I would be honest and probably ask them if they want a 'feel' ? Not advisable...perhaps I will ask a stranger instead

Hee Hee Mia you are so funny I haven't told my son who still lives at home and he would freak if I asked him if he wanted to feel I haven't told him face to face but my pics are all over this laptop and I am sure he must have an inckling. Dad has seen some pics..well he is just my dad and remembers me turning up on his doorstep at 19 braless and looking like a boy...not any more

Re: to show or not to show
Mrso you must have been sweating your little heart out!!
I think we have had our brains affected with all this silicone!!! Grown women... all we have is a couple of bumps on our chest (expensive at that) and we have to hide and feel embaressed ..not much different from before?
I think it is good to have this site, as you can talk to other females and be yourself.. escape from being a mum, wife, girlfriend, daughter, sister etc. for a while.
Finnie, I think all (male) relatives would freak if we offered them a feel!!! I can just imagine mine I have wiped my computer of the pics.. just in case
I just cant get my head around how we feel this way, and my way of dealing with it is to be realistic...but I do have a strange sense of humour :flash:xx

Lol my friend today told me that she told her boyfriend I had them done and the first thing he said was "brilliant! do you think she'll mind if I asked to touch?" If I was her he'd still be trying to open his two black eyes....!!!
Like Mia I am not wearing different clothes but because I used to wear fairly tight tops before I am wearing them again after a first phase of hiding in baggy shirts!
