will the hospital provide towels? ive never been into hopsital (let alone a private one) accept for giving birth and for d and c and ov in a normal hospital you take EVERYTHING!
so should i pack a towel?

lol silly question i no but im off shopping for food for my bag and wipes and some more pj''s for when i come home just wondered if i should get a towel? x

The hospital I stayed in provided towels hun and I would think all private hospitals provide them. xx

Yes sweetheart, there will towels in the hospital. I doubt you'll you'll use them though, I just took face wipes and deodrant wipes with me so I at least felt a little fresher as I just didn't have the energy to stand and think of having a wash, I could just about brush my teeth! lol. xx

I think I had towels at the highgate but I didn't use them hence not being able to remember. lol. x

You'll do that at home before reaching the hospital babe, alot of us use an anti bacterial wash, I used Hibiscrub which I bought from Boots chemist and just showered in it the night before my surgery and before leaving for the hospital. xx

I had a shower at the hospital before my op as I'd just travelled half way across London on the tube. They provided towels and bath robe x

i didnt use the shower in my room, but i wish i cud hav..it was a huge power shower!! I wasnt told to wash or anything before, or even buy special scrubs.
I just had a normal bath in the morning as usual, and went it to surgery in the afternoon....with my mascara still on!! he he :doh:

oh right cool i have hibiscrub my friends daughter uses it and she gave me a big white bottle of it as alot of bodywashes/soaps bring me out in a rash i use this if i come out in a rash and it seems to get rid of it lol thanks for replies again ladies i dunno what i'd do without this site now lol xx

Yes I used Hibiscrub the night before and the morning of the op. I never had to shower at the hospital and I'm sure there were towels :-)

im packing, slippers, PJs, deodorant, wipes, pillows for the car, lipbalm (apparantly your lips go really dry), hairbands, different sized bras incase the one i take doesnt fit! change of underwear... think thats it! x
