I moved and at the beginnin of the year went to see a new doctor to cut a very long story short i have a ruptured leaking implant. i have been told I have to have it removed financially i am no in a situation to have them replaced!!!!! the consultant was very honest when he said my boobs will then be a mess. I cant find any pictures anywhere of women that have gone through the same thing so I cannot gage how bad I will or will not look. Please can anyone help.

Welcome to BJSF pinky, I'm so very sorry you found your way here in such circumstances
Firstly babe, have you had a scan to confirm the rupture?
If you have a clinical diagnosis then check your after-care policy if you have one? Are you within the contract still?
If you are you should be offered a re-op free of charge with a clinical diagnosis.
If you're out of your contract hun, then I'm afraid you will have to fund a re-op yourself.
You should also contact a solicitor regarding this matter babe, although there have been no claims 'as yet' regarding the PIP situation here in the UK, you still still log your complaint.
Please let us know how you're doing hun, you'll get so much support here and there's some info to read in this section to that may be of interst to you. xx

Sweetie, I know it's hard, but if you have no way to finance a re-op, if that implant is ruptured and it's been clinically confirmed it needs to come out still so you need to go see your GP as soon as possibe sweetness, you really don't want to leave those implants in if you've had it confirmed that they're ruptured, tell your GP the position you're in and discuss the options available to you.

You found a great place to be hun and there are quite a few ladies here who have had PIPs removed and replaced but they have ALL had to fund the re-ops themselves sweetie.
I wish I had better news for you, I really do and my heart goes out to you

I'm so very sorry hun, I really, really am...

The first thing you need to do lovely is try every avenue to fund your re-op, finance? bank loan? someone close to you who could take the finance out on your behalf and you pay them back? 0% credit card? try everything hun...
If that's not possible could you save the money in a short space of time?
The very worse case scenario is hun that your GP will make arrangements to have the implants removed free on the NHS, they will not replace the implants for you babe, they will make best of the breast and ensure your health is priority and that the PIPs are out and the breast is thoroughly cleaned of all silicone.
Hoping with all my heart you can get something done babe, but you really can't leave those on your body babe, they do have to come out.
