Confused about implant size

Hello everybody,
I had a consultation with Spire today and have come home slightly confused. I would like to go from an A to a D cup and was told that 350cc would probably do the job. In Transform I was told 310cc would be best, baring in mind my consultant was Dr Lutz.
The reason I'm more worried about 350cc implants is because these will probably have to go under the muscle, which is not what I am comfortable with when I think about it, for various reasons.
So basically my question is what do people think would be a smaller size that is likely to result in a D cup, that will be over the muscle?

Everyone is different so it would be hard to say what a smaller size would give you, i had 265 overs and i am currently wearing anything from a 36d /dd and sometimes an e cup, it depends on how much breast tissue you have to start with.

Sorry, I agree with susib hun. None of us could possibly predict a resulting size for you, you only have to look at our stats thread babe to see that even women with the same sized implant and the same stats come away with a great variation of resulting sizes!

Did you particularly like one surgeon more than the other? If you did then maybe arrange a second consultation with that surgeon to discuss your sizing more.

Forget cupsizes, your perception of a cupsize might be completely different to your surgeons so start thinking about the LOOK you want. Pictures of the boob shape and size will be perfect to show your surgeon (Nuts mens mag is a good place to look). Because your surgeon works in volume (CCs) actually seeing what you want will give them a much clearer idea of how much volume would be needed to achieve the look.

Having a visual to discuss also helps both yourself and your surgeon to be exactly on the same page with no misunderstanding about the result you're hoping for and should give you the confidence then to be satisfied with the plan arranged for you.

If you're unsure about either surgeon then maybe try another if you think a third consultation would help in deciding, I would use pics though for any further consultations you go on. xx

hi hun, cookie is spot on! i used pics and my surgeon ended up borrowin them to ask other patients what they liked!! tbh i did have quite a few...like 100+! as for overs and unders, that will decided on by what look your going for how much tissue you have already etc...i had partials and i was a c cup. i thought i would def be having overs, but once the surgeon new what look i was going for he suggested partials!

I'm quite keen on going with Mr Cooper at Spire, he seemed excellent to be honest and I'd feel more comfortable having it done somewhere 15 miles from home as opposed to travelling 2/3 hours to London!
I am going back there soon to try on implants with a bra.
I never considered looking at photos for inspiration! I'm going to start searching for my ideal boobies straight away :heehee: Thank you ladies!
