Feeling Down... :(
Hi Girls, havent been on here for a while!
Im about 2.5 months post op and im feeling really down about my boobs, they really arnt the result that i was after, they are so full at the bottom and still extreamly empty at the top - just as they were pre BA. My surgeon said i will definatly have my fullness at the top but there is just none atall and they look very saggy, way more than before. Also my nipples point out to the sides, its so noticeable i cant bare being naked infront of my bf
Im also really struggling with bras, i used to wear a 34b but since ba ive been measured as a 30DD/32E! Ive not found any 30DD and the straps on the 32E are always too big and fall down. Can anyone recommend anywhere with some good smaller backed bras?
Im sorry for maoning but i really dont know what to do, feel so dissapointed.
Btw i had 410 overs on March 12th x

Oh Becca, i'm sorry you're not happy with your results, i'm still early days myself but everyone i have spoken to has said there is still room for change and improvement for up to a year after your op, i know that will be hard to hear though. Have you spoken to your surgeon about your concerns?
For bras, bravissimo would be a good place to go but i'm sure the other girls on here can tell you many more places.
xx

Hi hun, if you are not happy with your result and you were told you would get something totally different to what you have I would book an appointment to see your surgeon ans soon as possible and ask him what he's going to do about it. You have to tell them hun or they will think you are happy.
As for bras, I find bravissimo and la senza and figleaves really good for small back and big cups. M&S can be good also, but it depends what they have in stock

Re: Feeling Down... :(
Thanks Girls, I have booked an appointment with him for Tuesday 31st so i will voice my concerns then. i wasnt expecting perfect boobs but they just arent how i wanted them, i even took pics ect and he assured my i would have fullness at the top, which i still dont, and as for my nipples why are they now pointing in funny directions? Could it be the placemnet of the implant affecting it?
Has anyone else not been happy with their resluts and got them sorted?
i will have a look at bravissimo for bra's :) thanks girls.

Re: Feeling Down... :(
So sorry to hear this hun xx sending you big xx I was not happy with the result of my first op and had a revision in March this year xx Unfortunately the problem has not been fixed so am now going to have to have a third op at some stage xx
I have a diary up if you want to find out more about my story, in the diary section hun under my username xx
Okay first things first xx You need to make an appointment with your PS straight away xx like Misf1 has said xx
You need to tell your PS that you are unhappy with the result you have and that it is not what you wanted, expected or were told you were getting xx make sure he writes it down in your file and then ask him what he can do to correct it and then go from there xx

Re: Feeling Down... :(
Really sorry to read of your disappointment hun, you've already been given fab advise, just to add if you think you might need moral support when you see your surgeon, it may be best to take someone with you, IF your surgeons work isn't acceptable then it is possible and has been known for surgeons to try and talk their way out of it to make you feel daft for coming to them.
If YOU feel there's a problem Becca and you're this unhappy, don't settle for being fobbed off if this is done to you - You may be asked to wait a six month period to see how the breasts settle, this is normal and unless for an emergency a surgeon will generally wait at least 6 months before considering a re-op. Kay has given excellent advise in suggest EVERYTHING you say is written in your notes, if you're unsure he's written it down, request that he does, this is very important as what is written in your notes is what will be referred back to should you need a re-op later. If you have someone with you, if you're at all upset, or feel intimidated this is were your support can step in on your behalf and ensure your point is gotten across to your surgen.
Lots of luck Becca and please let us know how you get on. xx

Re: Feeling Down... :(
aw thanks for all your advice everyone!
its hard because i dont want to be ungreatful but im just not happy with them. i know the surgeons cant perform miracles and i never expected to have the 'perfect' boobs but they just look odd now!
i have all the emails between myself and my pc and from my 1 week appointment i was saying exactly the same as i am now, and now they are alot worse as they have dropped so much. i also mentioned my concersn to the nurse so they should already have alot of notes regarding it!
Thanks for your support girls. xxx

Re: Feeling Down... :(
Hi hun, I am 3 and half months po and feel exactly the same so I know how your feeling. The girl's have given you great advice already but just wanted to say I hope things work out for you. I am seeing my ps in June and plan on doing exactly the same and making sure I get some idea of what can be done. Like you I don't expect perfect boobs but I am unhappy with how mine look and feel more paranoid about them now than I did before my op.
Hope you get some answers and all works ok for you xx

Re: Feeling Down... :(
Hey Girls
Just thought i would update you...
Had my appointment with my surgeon on 31st May and i expressed i wasnt happy that i have hardly any boob at the top - i dont have any fullness at all, and i still have to wear tripple x push up bras ect. He looked though my notes and there was a diagram of how i was (very flat at the top, almost tubular) and how i wanted to be - he said i was have to have gone to 525 or even 600 to get this. So i asked why i wasnt offered this, to which he had no response, he just started showing me the implant catolgue and the measurements for the bigger implants. I asked how long i had to wait untill i could get what i wanted - He laughed and said 'forever!!'.
He went on to say how he always has girls back complaining there are not big enough, i stated i am not worried about my cup size, i want the round fullness that i asked for in my consulations. He just seemed to treat me like a number, like he has this convo every day with people - where as i was generally upset - he just pretty much laughed me off and out the room
I have now logged a complaint with Transform and currently waiting as they have 1 months in which to reply!!
I am going on hols next saturday and i have STILL not purchased a bikini as im so depressed about my boobs :(
Anyway, i hope everyones okay and looking forward to their BA day or recovering well! xxxx

Oh Gorgeous xx really feel for you xx
I've been exactly where you are now hun AND am now awaiting a reply to my second complaint following my reop as the issues have not been corrected xx
The next step for me is legal if they do not meet me in the middle over this xx
Transform are terrible when there are problems and your PS should be ashamed of treating you int his manner, it's disgusting xx
Hun feel free to PM me when you are back off holiday xx hope you have a lovely time xx

I'll second that having had problems myself in the past with them also
Really hoping you get some satisfaction from your complaint lovely, to have your surgeon laugh you out the door with your complaint is downright disgraceful!
You know we're here for you hunni and if you need any help at all, just ask us, we'll do whatever we can to help babe. xx
