Supplements to take pre or post BA
Hey girls
Was just wondering if any of you were advised to start taking any supplements/vitamins to prepare for your BA - to help with the healing process etc. Im hoping to book to have my BA in June so if i do need to take anything i better start now really.
Advice appreciated. Thank you xx

I wasn't told to take anything, but you could always ask your surgeon what to take (I know some surgeons say not to take certain vits).
Might be a good time to start with the bio oil to make sure you don't get many stretchmarks.

Re: Supplements to take pre or post BA
I've just come back from seeing the nurse as my BA is next Friday and I had a few things I wanted to know - I was told not to take any herbal supplements or vitamin tablets. She did say to take arnica a week before my op and for two weeks after to help with bruising. Theres no guarantee it will make a difference but she's noticed that those who have taken it don't seem to have so much bruisng when she sees them for the first check after the op.

I was told I wasn't allowed to take anything at all 2 weeks before. No vitamins or asprin. No garlic either! As they think the blood therefore slow healing down.
But I used palmers cocoa butter on my boobs for 2 months before to avoid stretch marks. And take arnica 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after. X
