New boobs different sizes!
Hello.i had my op on may the 4th.about 3 days later i realised that the right one had become smaller than the left overnight! I didn't worry initially as I thought this was normal, and expected more changes.however since then nothing has happened, and the difference in size is really obvious.I'm getting quite upset about it now.I realise that they should change loads over the coming months, but was just seeking reassurance that this IS normal really?thanks x

I'm no expert but its not something I've heard of happening to many ladies on here. Yes a small difference in size is normal and you gotta remember in effect you have had 2 ops and each breast will heal at a different rate. But if there is a massive difference then I would def contact your clinic. x

It's very early days hun, give them chance to settle and all the swelling to go down, and I'm sure they'll even out. xx

Yeah, mine were wonky and different sizes for ages hun, just mention it at your post-op check, ensure your concerns are WRITTEN in your notes, it's very common sweetess and should even out over time, it took mine 12 weeks of wonkiness to sort themselves out LOL but they did and mine are fine now. xx

I'm 2 weeks post op and my right one is also smaller than my left! It's only a small difference, but it shows up loads in my photos. It was also smaller pre op, but only by a speck and I can't see how having implants would exaggerate the difference. Oh well, hope we even out soon! Xx

Re: New boobs different sizes!
ellanwy,
My asymetry is more noticable after op as well as before. Right away they were very wonky, and now I look at the pics I took the day before my re-op and in 2 1/2 months they evened out a bit more, more than my PS assumed also, ill try and find them and update my picturetrail. Msg me if you want to see, just be warned I needed a reop and im only 1 week post that, so some pics might not be favorable pics.

Re: New boobs different sizes!
I really wouldn't worry about size differences at this stage. If it's playing on your mind you could always call your nurse and have them make a note of it in case there are problems further down the line, but it's totally normal for them to heal at different rates.

Mine were slightly different sizes for ages Ellan, but they're exactly the same now. xx
