Sleeping anxiety!
Hey guys im still Pre-BA but and ive felt pretty relaxed about the whole thing.. except sleeping afterwards!
Ive bought a v-shaped pillow to try and keep me propped up at night but I find it hard enough sleeping as it is. Has anyone got any recommendations or tips for more relaxed sleep?

Re: Sleeping anxiety!
You've got you're V-Pillow and that's great, it will become your best friend, post-op lol and remember, you just need head and shoulders raised, theres no need to be in a sitting position. A hot water bottle for the lower back also helps if find you're aching, infact I've heard lavender is supposed to help induce sleep and I recently saw a lavender wheat bag that you can heat and use instead of a hotwater bottle.
Also posture! After your BA, you'll find you want to instinctively hunch, if it's not too painful, do try and stand straight when you're up and about... and I think that's about it really, the other ladies might have more suggestions to add, but that's all I can think of hun. xx

This is something Iv been concered about also.... I always automactically rolled to my side or from when asleep and Im worried about.... Iv practiced sleeping upright but I still wake up flat on my front ...
Re: Sleeping anxiety!
Oh, just thought of something else too! A pillow under your knees, really eases the pressure off your back. xx
Re: Sleeping anxiety!
I found the pillow under my knees really helped to cookie. It took the pressure off of my poor bum which was as numb as anything xx

Re: Sleeping anxiety!
When I sleep I used to roll from side to side on my belly on my back and all over again...................just to get too sleep lol so I was really worried about this sleeping on my back propped up.
I don't know why but it has been a lot easier than I thought, I think the GA and painkillers knock you out to begin with no matter what position you are in and then after that I have found I can sleep more easily propped up on my back than how I used to pre BA.
This was one thing that put me off BA but has been so much easier than I thought it would and I am sure you will be the same.
Good luck with your BA and I look forward to hearing all about your journey with your new boobies.

Re: Sleeping anxiety!
I found sleeping in the 1st week or 2 easy.........I think this was due to the G.A and painkillers....it was the best I had sleep in a long time but as all that wore of I found it harder to sleep from about the 3-8 week mark as I just couldnt get used to sleeping with big boobs!
I had about 4 normal pillows and 2 v pillows and as cookie said one between the legs is great! I ended up sleeping surrounded with pillows
