Mio321,
I'm sleeping ok, just waiting for that call. But may ring them today to see if I can change to day case?? Will save us some money as hubby has to stay over in a hotel too!
And yes you're right it isn't something we should be ashamed of, I've told a few more people too. Just wish it was here now!
Take care x
Good luck for today girls xx

Re: July Buddies
Back at home now, has been pain free up to now, and I quite enjoyed the effects of the GA coz it made me sleepy and drowsy all day. I can see why they say do not drive coz I would have literally crashed straight away!!
Im hoping my recovery goes well and that they settle nicely, as ive mentioned they are a bit far apart for my liking at the moment.
I had 380cc overs and am wearing a 34D sports bra.
Good luck to everyone still due there op
and happy healing to all who have sailed the boob express!! xx

Re: July Buddies
Glad all went to plan for you... So excited but so nervous!
Today I'm worried about the recovery part. My friend has said not to get freaked out when you first look at them because they will settle.
Does anyone know if teardrop shape look 'normal' more quickly than round implants please?
Thank you

Re: July Buddies
Hey Lucy, I looked into teardrop shape but a few things put me off, one is that they can turn inside you which you can obviously tell straight away (whereas if round turn you'll never know!) and that sometimes u have to get your surgeon to move them back into place.
Also you cant get as nice a cleaveage. And also their more expensive.
But dont take my advice as there are many people on here who have had that shape and will be very pleased with them!
Dont worry about the recovery part, up to now I feel great, they are a little tender and im scared to fiddle with them too much but other than that I could probably go out visiting my friends if I fancy! x

Immie, You are amazing!! I hope i'm like you on Sunday. My operation is at 11am and should be home around 5/6pm. Hopefully I will be able to sleep.
Quick question for you if you don't mind.....Did you sleep with one pillow or many slight sitting up. I brought a V-pillow as meany have said it really helps.

Re: July Buddies
Haha, thanks! not been called amazing before! lol
when I woke up from GA I was lying flat on my back and I thought, ooo know, how am I gonna get up without ripping my stitches to shreads?! but I got myself up as easy as normal, but then again I had overs, may be more painful if youre having unders?
I bought a V pillow and used that when I got to the hotel, nce and comfy s well worth it, otherwise id have had to make a pillow mountain and needed like 8 or something!
You'll defo have no problems sleeping, the GA is bloody amazing for that, best rest ive ever had!!! xx

Re: July Buddies
Thats brillant.
Im getting unders as im only 34a/aa and hoping to get 34d. as Im only size 10, they think it would look better under. My only concern is that Im not going to be able to do much upper body work outs as the doc said if i increase my pec muscles, it put pressure on the implants.

Re: July Buddies
Interesting comment about your pecs because I do a lot of gym work and have laid off the chest work since booking my BA - who wants a muscly chest anyway :-)
Sounds like unders are more painful afterwards... Oh no!!

Re: July Buddies
Ah I see, I couldnt have unders. Because ive had 2 kids and was left with 2 empty slightly droopy sacks of skin! Would have got a double boob effect if id have had unders.
So you may be in more pain with me post op but I dont think it will be too bad, it depends if you are good with pain. Im one of those people who isnt really bothered about pain. I have 2 tattoos and didnt wince at all whilst getting them done, and the 2 child births I had... were bloody painful!! but nothing I couldnt cope with!
You get loads of pain killers anyway xx

Re: July Buddies
Thats true
Lucy.....But I was weighing up the pro's and Con's...
Pro's= Beautiful chest with not as much muscles
Or
Con's= Muscularly chest(like a man) with not boobies
It has to be Pro!!!!
