question for all you more experienced boobettes! Empty question for all you more experienced boobettes!

Post by job1701 12th April 2009, 9:06 pm

Its 18 days since my Ba, i know still early, but should they still be aching so much? They are not infected, scars are healing well if still a little unsighly, but the sides ache and my nipples are so sensitive in a painful way! Can't bare to touch them either and under each breast there is a numb area? i guess I had 450 overs which are fairly big implants so there has been a lot of stretching, but do you girlies think this is part of the normal process? When did your girls stop aching so much. NB: its not pain just real sensitivity! Any advise greatly appreciated...... Hugs jo x Flash

I'd say it's all perfectly normal, honey. Mine still have the odd aches and twinges. I remember the sides aching quite a bit in the first few weeks. My nips have calmed down but I still am numb just above scars. All in all this healing thing takes a good few months.

Hiya Jo

I think that's all normal hun..from 3-5 weeks I felt like my boobs were going to explode I couldn't decide if they were trying to burst out or quite what was happening. You have had a fairly large implant so your tissues will take a while to allow for them. Try a cold flannel I found that was just heaven and relieved the sensation no end.

I had unders so can't answer for overs but i had twinges and senstitivity for about 4-6 weeks and then it became less often after that. My nipples were hard permanently for that time too but now are normal x

Hi Jo,

I know what you mean about senstive nipples - I'm 12 days PO and mine are really bad. They even hurt when I'm under the shower. So I'll be interested to hear what response you get! x

Hiya I am aprox 2 months post op. I had 550 overs and mine still ache at the sides and my nipples are still a tiny bit sensitive. It's only now and again now, but in the beginning it was more often. I think you are fine and it will ease up for you.

Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery.
