Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!
yeah thats what i thought. most of the clinics i have spoken to offer cui's as standard but they do also have naturelles for extra.
someone messaged me on here saying they has checked their aftercare on the spire website, and i am covered for 90 days providing if anything had gone wrong it would have to be found inside 30 days?!! does this seem right?
what else could i do, should i contact my breast and find out their aftercare, as i have contacted mya and they are £5000, something pound and i cant afford this:(
what do u think on the cui's as i think i will have to have an uplift in a few years aswell? so is it worth paying extra for the naturelles or go with the cui's?xx

Have you checked out MYA hunni?, I'm sure Mr Liew also works from that clinic
and I 'think' they offer a 3 year aftercare package, be sure to ask they're using the naturelles though for your pricing... so check that one
too before making any decisions.
I have CUIs babe, although they're guaranteed for ten years rather than a lifetime like the Naturelle, like you, I have full intentions of changing my implants again before that ten year period. Do your own research on both implants before making your decision sweetness.
If you find MYA are still a bit costly for you and you 'want' Naturelles, my advice hun - if you been scanned and your PIPs are intact, keep saving! Get your surgery done when you can afford to have what you want from your surgery with the surgeon you choose to have and not just have to settle for the cheapest option. I understand your concerns, but if the PIPs are intact, I wouldn't be rushing to have them taken out, I'd put careful consideration into planning the surgery I wanted then saving if need be the difference you need for that...
Maybe ask James McDiarmid if you need further reassurance about keeping the PIPs if they're intact in till you can afford the surgery you want. xx

Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!
Your right cookie MYA offer 3 years aftercare for complications and 5 years for CC. Mr Liew also works for mybreast and their aftercare says lifetime but what they mean is 5 years
Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!
thanx girlies, seems like i still have more research to do:(
iv been phoning clinics today but there not open till tue :(
so what happens if something happens outside the aftercare period? i wouldnt be covered for surgery cost but i would be covered for implant replacement?
has anybody actually ahd a problem with their implants inside the aftercare time and got them removed replaced at absoloutely no cost?xx

Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!
There are a few people on here that have had to have re ops for a complication and they have had them for free or some have had to pay some sort of fee. If you have a problem with your implants outside the aftercare period then you will get free implants (if they have a lifetime guarentee). If you develop for instance CC after the aftercare period you would have to pay for a re op, full price.
Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!

How did the surgeon know they were ruptured? Did they scan you at all? Most will charge to remove implants, I didn't think they added more on top if they were ruptured.

What a load of bullsh*t! Whoever this surgeon is ho told you this is taking advantage of your situation hun, it's NOT possible for this surgeon to diagnose a rupture as misf1 has quite rightly said and to then suggest you will have extra costs!!!!!! Well... that just takes the biscuit for me! That's just dispicable!
Whoever he is and whichever clinic they are should be ashamed!
Go to your GP and request a scan sweetheart. This is the ONLY way you're going to know if you have ruptured implants or not. Do NOT be made to feel rushed into having surgery based on an IMPOSSIBLE confirmed diagnosis. xx
Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!
he didnt scan me, just from what he could see/feel and what i had told him. his name is mr alvi he is baaps reg and seems very qualified and he was sooo lovely. i was there for over an hour talking about implants, shape size everything. he told me i would be more 'complicated' than others bcoz i originally had my implants over the muscle and i never should have and if he was to go under where they should be its more painfull, longer recovery and more in surgery.
i am going to go back to my gp and ask to be referred again, i want these implants removing either way but if they arent ruptured it gives me more time to explore my options and to get togrther more money for the best, not just rushing and getting the cheapest xx

This is the reason for 'extra costs'?! a simple placement change?
Think about it for a moment hun, when you have a BA, are you charged any more for having unders than you are for having overs?
Nope, you're not sweetie, the price for the surgery is EXACTLY the same.
Sure, if you chose to go under the muscle this time it may cause some discomfort for you and possibly a longer recovery, but that's not to say it should mean a bigger fee for him!... I can't say anymore to that, I'm actually lost for words after that...
Re: sooo fed up :( help pls!
