I think I've been really lucky, but I've still got my nipple sensation after my op.

Stupid question: I won't lose it now will I?

Hey Hun, I'm the same. Got no nipple numbness.

My surgeon said there's a chance it might come later and then go again but it's quite unlikely!

Oh that's good news. I was really worried about losing it. I was really surprised the other day when I realised I could feel them.

How you feeling today andsophie?

I've been sick this morning actually so not great.

I don't think the pain killers I took late last night settled very well cos that's all I could taste when I was sick.

Other than that I'm not too bad really. How about you gabby?

My right incision feels prickly at times, which I'm guessing is just healing going on. It's still sore if I move too quickly, but other than that I feel really good.

I thought I'd be limited in my range of movement too, but it's been okay. I can tie my hair up and might even have a go at washing it today.

I'm quite surprised really, I suppose I expected it to be a lot worse.

How you doing Rae? Still can't quite believe you've got 525's in heehee, seems sooooo much bigger than my little 295's

Awww you ladies are sooooooooooooooo early post-op, you really do have many changes ahead and different nerve sensations are just one them!

You 'might' experience some sharp stabbing sensations, you 'may' feel like water is trickling or flowing, you 'might' have numbness, or the sensation in your nipples 'might' feel so sensitive they're permananly erect for while and anything that touches them is ultra sensitive!

All of that is normal though, it isn't that pleasant at the time, but it's not something that gonna put you to bed or that you can't manage LOL. It's just the nerve endings healing and that a good thing.

If you have nipple sensation now, you won't lose it hunni, all will be just fine. xxxx

Just wandering how long were you guys told to sleep upright on your back for?

Also how long did you have to wear the super sexy stockings for?

I'm feeling quite rough today, boobs are feeling very tight and sore today!

This isnt very nice but im also constipated, I'm not in any discomfort but I haven't got to the 'loo' since before my op. Just wandered if that's normal?

At least a week to ten days babe, the reason you're told to sleep raised on your back is to help naturally drain the fluid. Then it's up to you to just listen to your body hun, if it feels OK to slowly start to turn on your side, then that's fine, if it's comfortable, then maybe you need a couple of more days till you try again.

Remember we all heal at different rates so there's no set time frame when you'll be OK to change sleeping position, that's up to your body and how fast it heals. xx

Where you not given any post-op instructions hunni?, generally if you're up and movig about and walking around you're fine to ditch the stockings then, but do call your clinic and check with them sweetie if you're at all unsure.

I'm feeling quite rough today, boobs are feeling very tight and sore today!

Day 3/4 are usually the worst when your swelling really kicks in! It gets better hunni, make sure you're taking your pain killers and drinking plenty of water. Ice packs also help with the swelling sweetness.

Yup! So many of us have all suffered the constipated Buddah Belly! Be sure you're eating plenty of fruit sweetie, try and walk around when you can, the movement helps to get your bowels going (sorry if thats too much information haha) and if you feel you need it try taking sennacot or asking your pharmacy for something to help the constipation.

You'll be OK though hun. Nipple sensation, can I lose it later on? 571992
