Just a quick question for all you lovelies who have had an uplift and or incisions around the areola......

In the first few weeks post op did your areola look or appear slightly different in size/shape to each other? And did they even out themselves when healed too pretty much the same size and shape?

I just can't recall shrug

Thanks Hug

Mine have healed a bit different, the scar on my right seems to have stretched a bit, making the areola appear a bit more oval than round when compared to the left one... I dont think anyone but me would notice and I am hoping as the scars continue to fade its less noticable.
How are you healing up Kay?

when i first had it done, i thought one looked a bit diamond shape, but theyve rounded out a bit, and i dont think its particularly noticeable or looks bad or anything.

I know this post is from a few weeks back so I'm just checking back in to see how your doing now?Have the areola's evened out at all? I'm having the same issues and major swelling to the point of having raised areola mounds.I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share my pictures yet but I have taken them over the last month of recovery.

This has me so worried. At my 28 day check-up I was told they would change but I'm not convinced since they have looked like this since day 2 after surgery.

I hope you have had a positive change in yours.

mine are not the same, one even looked triangle in shape at first, and the other like a pac man face at one point, they are changing dramatically, its very odd, never knew how much changes you go through until you actually experience it. i think, mine are getting more normal shape now, hopefully not bc my eyes are playing tricks on me bcive been looking for too long that im just making them normal in my own head lol

That gives me hope then!I'm glad yours are getting to be a more normal shape.I went out and bought micropore tape yesterday and I taped around the areola in sort of a sunburst shape.I have no idea if this will help encourage them to go round or not but I have seen some pics on other sites where the ladies have done this.I figure it's worth a shot!

I hope I don't sound picky but the right one is actually a straight line along the side of it.They were nice and round prior to the lift so this is a shock to me.Other than that,my incisions are nice and narrow.
Good luck to you!
