do boob sizes change a lot after 6 weeks?
Hello Girlies,
Just a general question, I am 4 weeks post op, I got myself measured as I wanted to ensure I was wearing the right support bra, I was originally wearing 34D but was told I am actually 32D/DD. I was wondering if girls change a lot in the next couple of months, if so by how much. I want to go buy some underwire bras after my 6 week check up, but don't want to buy to many incase sizes change a lot. Just wondering what's happen with any of you girlies? I know every1 is different, just wondered your stories!
Thanks
Xxxx

You're right to only buy a couple of bras when you first get the go ahead to wear wired bras babe. I just bought a black, a white and a nude bra so I had a bra to wear with everything.
Most, but not all will increase in size and many quite a few times after the six week mark.
At 6 weeks post-op I was wearing a DD bra, by 12 weeks post-op I was then wearing an F cup. xx

Before I saw Mr Selvaggi, I had suffered a rupture, but the surgeon I had had since retired, I was then allocated another - A Mr Mounir, he didn't even bother to examine me, he was just going to shove another implant into my breast, in doing this it would have left me with severe assymetry due to the damage the rupture had done to my breast, I absolutely refused to have surgery with that man and asked to see another, I then saw Mr Selvaggi, he was so sensative to my needs and also my feelings, he gave me a thorough examination and told me things about my surgery that were upsetting to hear but he was honest and caring - He had to reconstruct one of breasts as it was a mess and was two sizes larger than the other, I've seen him a few times since my surgery and he has not once rushed me, he 'listens' and he 'cares' I'm still having some problems from the initial damage and I'm almost 1 1/2 years post-op now and he's still there for me, even given me his Email address to contact him personally with any concerns I might have. Mr S was MY choice of surgeon and I haven't regretted choosing him for me, my boobs were really bad and Mr S made them beautiful again.
I hope this has helped xx

I wouldn't go buying too many bras either hun. My boobs changed loads from 6 weeks, I started of in a D, then I was an E, now I'm an F cup. xx

Mine changed loads, not so much in size, but the fit of the bra can change with the settling and softening stages. Mine did go up a cup size after 8 or 9 months
Re: do boob sizes change a lot after 6 weeks?
Mine also changed loads, at 6 weeks I was in 32FF La senza bras then 2 weeks later they were way to small........I had to sell them on here lol
The best money saving advice I was given was not to buy to many exspensive bras in the 1st 6 months as you boobs will change size and shape lots, just a shame I was told this after my parents spent nearly £200 on la senza bras for me as a 6 week post- op present
xx

thats very helpful thx for the info hun! i only saw him once, he didnt talk very much. he just explained to me the procedure and also let me try different size of implants. well he respects my choice but even myself wasnt so sure which size to go for. then i just took what he suggests would be the best, which is a 300cc unders to bring me to a full C. i wasnt so sure how good is he but just felt he is a surgeon that i can trust. after reading your experience with him, now im very sure i want to have my BA with him!! thx a lot hun!

Yes I agree with the girls. I also went and bought a couple bras at 8 weeks when I was told I could wear bras. they were DD. I only bought a couple since I heard they change. Then they started to feel a lil tight at around 10 wks so had to go get an F.. so they do change. I just didn't expect them to that quick.
