Just had 1st consultation. Need reassurance please
Hi All,
I have just hd my 1st consultation and am very excited but now have heaps of questions.
I am sure that many of you have heard all this before so forgive me for being dull.
1st off, i had thought that i would just see the co ordinator lady today to give me an idea of what can be done, what to expect costs etc. Then out of the blue she said I could meet a Surgeon. It happened to be Paul Clarke who i have only heard good things about. Is this a coincedence or a very clever sales ploy???? Either way I was chuffed, I dont mind telling you.
So after lots of chat, measuring etc Mr Clarke suggested a key hole uplift plus implant. That is what I had expected.
Now, I am a very empty 32 C/D. He suggested an implant of 230 or 260. I want a natural look and would be happy to be no bigger than D cup? I've put a question mark as i have alredy fallen victim to boob greed and thought "is that big enough? "
So my question to you all is, does that sound right? I'm after people in similar situations reassuring me or actually i'm happy to hear "no dont do it".
Just other opinions and points of view. My only other reference is my husband and he typically just says " whatever you're happy with babe". BRILLIANT!!!!
Looking forward to your wisdom!!

Not sure on the cupsize hun and surgeons don't usually work in cupsize they work in volume they can't guarantee what size you will end up. I had breastfed 3 kids and was a deflated 32C I had 310 implants and am currently a 32E. Alot of girls start off an A/B cup so as you have a little more you might get a bigger size from a smaller implant. or me it was around 100cc per cupsize I went up x

I don't think seeing the surgeon was a sales ploy hun, you were just lucky probably as he may have had a cancellation.
As for the size, it's very difficult for us to say hun as Mr Clarke will have seen you, we havent, as well as your stats he will have taken into account so many other factors that will contribute to your resulting size, you only have to look at the stats thread to see that so many women, who may have the same stats and have the same sized implants might come away with a completely different resulting size, due to them having completely different anatomies.
If you were happy with Mr Clarke, then maybe book for a second consultation, take pics with you so you don't come away with any doubts.
The reason I mentioned taking pics is because a surgeon works in volume, seeing a pic of the look and sizeed breasts you want gives them a better indication of how many CCs it might take to give you as close as possible the look you're after.
I'd also suggest even though you're happy with Mr Clarke that you also see another surgeon, if only to have something to compare and to know you ensure that you're confident you made the right choice of surgeon. xx

Great advice from cookie and peachy. Thank you both.
I think our size etc is similar peachy so it kinda feels right what he's sugested. I shopuld end up a wee bit smaller than you if we go for 260. Thats fine.
Cookie, I will take your advice and see someone else. I did like his manner but I have nothing to compare it with I guess.
I have still to get to speak to hubby in detail about my consultation. He works away and email contact is the best we get somedays. ITs so frustrating!!!!! So good job for this forum. Having someone to go through it all with is fabby. All in the same club too!!!!

Hey girl. I too am a empty C cup. After talking to my surgeon, he sugested I go with 400 cc, high profile unders. He said this will take me to a DD full cup size. In his words " you won't look like a pornstar". I think they will be a bigger cup but he was more interest in the look I was going for. I trust him and will take some pictures with me to my next consult.
Make sure you know what you want and take pictures of the look/size your going for. Can't wait to hear how it all turns out for you
