itchy boobs (not scars)! ARRRGGGHHHH! Empty itchy boobs (not scars)! ARRRGGGHHHH!

OMG, I swear to god this itching is actually driving me mad! My left boob (the one that is still hard and high) is so so so itchy, above the nipple, all over the top. It's been like it since yesterday but has got really bad today.
No matter how much I scratch or rub it or moisturise it, it never settles, prob cos it is a little numb.
Has anyone else had this and any tips to make it go away?! Hoping that it's my nerves regrowing.

Hiya hun, the itching drove me mad too. I think it's just because the skin is so stretched, I just kept mine well moisterised and tried to avoid touching them or it would set them off itching. xx

From being pregnant and having that stretching feeling I found a nice cold flannel helped. good luck hun, sure it'll go once your boobs settle a little hun x

I used icepacks to get me through this phase, they were such a relief 'cos the itching drove me crazy!

If you dont have ice packs sweetness, a bag of frozen peas or rice will do, great for easing the morning boob too! xx

I am just into the itchy stage too I had a bad time sleeping last night because I keep scratching my self (so bad). Mine itch everywhere!!!!

Well I am barely on day two of my BA and i am itching like crazy already! I think a lot of it is my wrappings because not only are my boobs itching but and sides and armpits as well! (sorry if that was TMI)
But my incision area is itching already to! I really hope this doesn't last long!
My PS says that i can rub bio-oil on them once i get the go ahead, that or any other soothing moisturizer.

I havent had my BA but I do remember when I had my kids my boobs went from an A cup to a DD pretty much overnight when my milk came in and they got soooo itchy then so I got one of the kids cloth nappies and wet it with icy cold water to put over my boobs it was heaven and eased the itch.

The itching was horrible. Try something cold to soothe them hun. It really does work.
