Decisions about re-op
I'm having some thoughts at the moment about my impending re-op and the size of implant my surgeon has suggested. Hes talking of replacing with around 400cc's and as I posted in the re-op buddies thread something is niggling at me about it. One of the resident surgeons said to be careful what I want from my re-op because 0.75 cm is not alot of difference width wise.
I thought perhaps a change of profile would be the answer but he said it was fine and was just going to go for a bigger size.
I'm wondering how I stand as its a re-op and I'm getting it done for free. How much control have I got over it. I don't want to p*ss him off and start telling him his job but I don't want to end up disappointed again either. I'm just panicking I guess because I'm not paying for it.
What do you ladies think? xx

Re: Decisions about re-op
You're getting a re-op to correct a problem hun so make sure the surgeon knows exactly what you want to achieve and that you're confident he will give that to you. You can obviously be nice about it and do take his advice into consideration but stand up for what you want and ask him to explain how the problem will be corrected.

Although it is a re-op hun, you do have to be sure your surgeon is giving you what you need to achieve the look you wanted originally. Like Kittie has said, you can be nice but stand up for what you want. xx

Re: Decisions about re-op
Go back for a second consultation hun and explain your concerns, you're not being at all rude in wanting to understand the reasoning for his decision.
Just explain that after things not going right the first time, you're sure he'll understand how anxious you are this time around to get things right and although you trust his decision you don't fully understand it and would like him to further explain so you understand.
This re-op isn't 'FREE' either hun, you paid for this in your 'aftercare package' xx

Re: Decisions about re-op
Thanks ladies I don't know what I'd do without you . I think I'm just scared if I kick up a fuss they will turn round and say I can't have it done.
And there was I saying I wasn't nervous this time I guess the nerves are still there just a different reason to be anxious so although I'm looking forward to getting them correced I'm still scared they won't be right.
I'm going to email and see if I can see him again.
Hugs xx
