Hi ladies

Just thought I would attempt a more detailed post if I can. I am very drugged so this may not even make sense and be full of spelling errors.

I got the 360cc over the muscle. I woke up in pain even though I had the pain pump on. Then I was a bit sick from the GA. I was put in a surgical bra. I had planned on buying another one from them for a spare but they are $200.00 each.

I was feeling faily calm right up until I went into the operationg room and they I fought the tear. Next thing I knew I was awake with boobs in recovery. We had to spend the night in a hotel and I had my post op appointment this morning where they removed the pain pump and changed the dressing. I do have a tad bit of bleeding . My breast look hudge and swollen. They will shrink right???
I feel like a plastic barbie doll. My breast actually feel like they do when you wear those supper padded bras victoria secret sells. I am very sore inbetween my breast. Is that normal. They also really hurt when I have been laying down and then get up. I tried to lay propped up into a sittling postion last ngiht to sleep but I kept sliding down onto my back.
I was told not to do anything all week and to try not to use my arms.

Anyway... for all you girls out there yet to be done. Best of luck!! I know it is very scary. I was over the top scared as most of you know. I suggest you talk about your fears no matter what they are. This is a great site and to be honest if I had not found this site and got the support i did here I would probably have cancelled my surgery. Feel free to PM me anytime. If I can do this anyone can.

Congratulations hun, welcome to the other side. They will be less swollen hun yes, they will also look less fake as time goes by. Sore inbetween your boobs is very normal as this is swelling too. What you are experiencing when you lie down and then get up is what we loveingly call morning boob, it can take a little while to go (that dam swelling again) but it will get easier and then disappear given a couple of weeks.
Get lots of rest, dont use your arms much and keep mobile (ie walk around the house and go for little walks when you feel up to it) Happy healing hun!

Candy,

Ohhhhhhh yay!!!! It's great to have you back on here posting! I'm glad you're back home too! So that's good you got your pain pump removed. Also, what is the difference between the surgical bra and one from any store? I ended up getting my surgery bras from Walmart for like $10. They do up in the front and are soft. I'm learning so much from your surgery -the pain pump, now the surgica bra.

Rest up hun! Give You

I'm so pleased everything went fine! Everything you've said there is all completely normal! The swelling will go down, and I had the pains you've mentioned here aswell so dont worry about any of them!
I hope you're pleased with the result and hope you go on to have a quick recovery and you heal as you should! Not ling until you'll be able to show off your new girls with a smile! xxx

Elleblondie... The surgical bra is a very tight bra with lots of support. I was told only to wear the surgical bra
I think it has to do with the fact that I have tear drop shapped. They do not want them to rotate at all.
Well my demerol is kicking in. Hars to see on this phone.
Take care elleblondie. I am glad we connected on this site.
How is you pain level and swelling?

Congratulations hun! Make sure you rest up now!

Your boobies will change shape a lot over the next few days/weeks/months so please don't panic about their size just yet.

As for the padded bra feeling, yes it is nrmal to feel like you are wearing a permanent gel bra, in fact ir remember posting about this myself a year ago, wondering if they would ever feel like my own... well they do eventually but it does take time. For me it felt like i was wearing a massive padded bra for a good few weeks but now they feel like mine so much I can't remember what it was like to have no boobs.
