Re: 11 Days to go for New Boobies
Hey hun... My worry is also waking up.
My best friend(who would never lie to me) is an aneatheatist assistant she says if people do come round which is 1 in 100000 or something silly its A- the aneathetists fault as they monitor your blood pressure and heart as ur under the GA and when u start coming round your heart rapidly races so they'd know WAY before u wake up.
B- most people that do come round a bit are so sedated they have no recollection of waking up(most girls on here don't even remember being in the recovery room)
Hope that settles u and good luck with ur op :-) xxxx

Aw hun, dont worry it wont be that bad. Honestly you wont wake up during and you will wake up after the op. It's really normal to have these worries just before you op, especially as it's soooo close.
Re: 11 Days to go for New Boobies
Aww Gilly, no need to be frightened (although it's perfectly understandable why you might be) - I think Lola explained it perfectly.
Don't expect them to to perfect right from the start though (although they will look so much better than you had before) as it can take a couple of months before they start to finally settle down. The surgeons are remarkable and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to actually see my scars, I've really got to scrutinise fo be able to see them - and this is only after 3 months, it will improve even more over the next year.

Aww hunni, try not to stress. I was exactly the same, worried about the GA, even though I'd had several previous to this one. I don't remember waking up in recovery, I must have been well away. It's normal to worry about the scars but you have to weigh it up, a few little scars and great boobs are better than no scars and not great boobs, and the scars fade really quickly.
You'll be fine hun.

Aww good luck hun, you must be having yours on the same day as me?!
I have got past the nerves for now and am just excited! But my nerves will definitely come back when it gets nearer! Hope we're both happy with the results. And dont worry about the waking up, even if you did which is VERY rare, the girls are right you wouldnt remember a thing x

Hey Gilly,
It's soooo normal that you feel like this. It's a whirlwind of emotions leading up to your BA day. I found that I had no idea of the fears I had until I had everything booked and was waiting. I was glad of Lola's posting because it says it pretty true & hopefully will take some of your fear away. You must be excited for your day though, it's going to be so worth it. You will look fantastic. All of us girls will be here for you to help you along your way too which is definitely a help.
