Worried about my left boob Empty Worried about my left boob

Post by alfie 10th February 2011, 6:59 pm

I'm almost 14 months post op and for a while now I've been getting an achey feeling in my left boob. I don't have it all the time, it seems to be more in the evening. My boob still feels and looks normal, I keep thinking it could be cc. I have been taking hrt since July and wondered if it was something to do with that, but if it was, I'm sure it would be in both boobs. Would you girls advise seeing my surgeon or do you think seeing my gp would be okay. I feel a bit daft writing this because I know deep down I need to see someone.

I'd maybe see your surgeon first and then GP if he can find nothing wrong. It could just be hormones but better to get it checked for your peace of mind.

Awww hunnie group hug
I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but as misf1 said, have a chat with your surgeon about it and then if he thinks it's nothing to do with the implants, have a word with your GP.
Perhaps you're just a little run down, it's been a long hard winter and we need some sunshine and warmth to get that feel good factor back

I agree with the girls hun, I'd see your GP and if you get no joy speak to your PS. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though, I never had discomfort in my boobs during my period but I have since my BA, so it could be hormonal. especially with the HRT.....xx

Thanks girls I do appreciate you getting back to me. Even though I'm worried I just keep putting of the inevitable. I'm going to get in touch with mybreast now and book an appointment with my surgeon.

I have done it, trouble is I have to wait untill the 2nd March. I could have had one a little earlier but hubby wouldn't have been able to take me. At least the appointment is made now, so I'm going to try and stop worrying.

Thanks girls.
