WOW GIRLIE! That's AMAZING! I'm so so so pleased for you, I got a tear in my eye when I read that! You really deserve this treatment. So have you got a date?
xx
Thanks RC, I was gobsmacked, I had tears falling down my face but don't know if they were for joy or what?! The relief!
No date yet, he wants to see me in 3 months and if the tissue is soft enough he will do the corrective surgery then and implant 2 months after, i feel so lucky xx
Aw thanks BB, the relief to finally be in safe hands is unbelievable xx

Re: Corrective surgery for me in 3 months
Hey babe I have only just caught up with you on this. I am so so fricking pleased for you. He sounds like a real medical pro - they take the hippocratic oath to take care of people and not just make money, and it sounds like he is WELL aware of that. What a relief!!!!!!!!!!! And on the NHS too is just fab. The fact that you don't have to worry about getting the money together is major. Phew.
Really really really pleased for you - and how nice (in a strange way-you know what I mean) for him to confirm that the PS you saw was basically an idiot with a scalpel in his hand. It actually raises my temperature when I read you say he let you just walk out after taking the implant out? WTF?
So now you can relax a bit knowing your in really good hands.
Moderator in training eh??!! like it!!

Definately when you're all fixed up... you should see if you can sue for clinical negligence. You have the photos to prove it.

Re: Corrective surgery for me in 3 months
That is brilliant news and it's so good that you went for a private consultation instead of going back to the origional surgeon *comment removed*. It was such a scary time for you and after reading your posts, you were so down about it. Finally you are getting the best treatment and in two operations time you will be where you wanted to be. And a lot happier. I hope your confiedence sores. And you so should sue the butt of the previous surgeon, as you now have proof that they didn't do a good job, they didn't treat you as they should and basically they put you in danger and weren't giving you the correct aftercare and were just going to bodge putting another implant in and this obviously would not have helped. God knows what would have happened. You will be under the best of care now hun. You deserve it. I'm so happy for you.

Re: Corrective surgery for me in 3 months
SS I cannot believe you've had to go through all this. I'm in tears reading your posts and can't believe you've been treated so so badly.
I'm so pleased that you've got proper backing now and are going to have the corrective surgery done on the NHS. Its very easy for me to say this but once all this is over and you are feeling up to it I would definitely think about sueing. I'm assuming this *comment removed* is still performing surgery and not caring properly for his patients and that is wrong.
Lots of love and hugs
Sally xx

Re: Corrective surgery for me in 3 months
Aw thanks so much girlies you really are such a great bunch!
I am looking forward to getting the date because I see it as the beginning of the end of all this so even though i will be afraid i will also know when it will all be over, I am in need of something positive to look towards and this will be a good start.
Changing my ticker will be such a great day for me! My tummy is flipping at the thought! xx

Re: Corrective surgery for me in 3 months
Hiya - i've just joined this site after receiving an email from you - thanks.
Can you tell me who your new Surgeon is please as i am left hugely disfigured! I am adamant i do not want implants again - i just want my muscles fixed.
I can't believe you have been offered this on the NHS. A local private surgeon wanted me to have a fat transfer on the NHS which he felt might help disguise the problem and fill in a large dent i have been left with and the NHS turned me down!

I have tried loads of Solicitors to try and sue my Surgeon (if you could see my photos you would not believe how disfigured i am) and i have had no joy at all. Are you aware that you MUST make a claim within 3 years? As my 3 years are up in about 8 weeks, i don't think i stand a chance now sadly
