If 2 shops said you are and the bras fit then yes you are a 30D. But I'm sure you are still unhappy with your boobs as they are just numbers and letters and it wont make a difference to how you feel about them surely?

That's right. But I DO feel as if they are 'okay' now. I used to HATE them. I feel as if I can be more comfortable. I still want them bigger, ofc.

This doesn't make any sense to me either I'm afraid just because you might be trying out different backsizes your boobs are still the same size whether you put them in a 32b or a bra with a smaller backsize bigger cupsize. Big cupsizes in small bras don't mean your boobs are bigger. Sorry if that sounds like I'm being funny I don't mean it to I just don't get whats different because what fills the bra is still the same whether it says 32B or 28D. Do you mind me asking what are you not happy with hun the fact that you had a small sounding bra size or your actual boob size x

It all depends on the shape and size of your boobs and rib cage. I have a friend who is a 34D and doesn't have hardly any cleavage!

I'm a 30E and I think that there is quite a big difference between your pics and my avatar!

Bra sizes are odd things... Agree with the other girls that no matter what the bra size is, it is still the same boobs that you are putting in the bra.

Im glad its made you happier with your breasts.

Loads of people seem to base their happiness with their body on some arbitrary number.
I mean, weve all felt down if we couldnt get into our normal dress size in one shop havent we, and the amount of people whove measured themselves after their boob job and been unhappy, yet are all of a sudden over the moon when they get a professional measurement which 9 times out of 10 gives them a smaller band size and a larger cup size than they thought.
It does SEEM silly to base your body confidence on a letter or a number, but most of us have been prone to it at some point.
If you feel happier now TG then thats great

This is quite true. I never thought of it like that. I just want them to look nice naked and clothed. I'm gauging it by eye. I always expect that the sizes of the clothes I buy will vary depending on the shop i bought them in, so I never really care about size too much as a number. Gives the word 'figure-hugging' new meaning to us girls.

breast width diameter

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for a diagram and how to calculate yours.
All it means really is the width of your breasts are also a factor, so although your projection is an A/B cup the width the underwire needs to be to fit your breasts properly need to be wider than an A/B cup

chicksville wrote:I can never understand the sizes. I have never seen size 28 bras ever apart from trainer bras. I have no upper fullness so if i wear C cups i never fill them, so that makes me think i'm smaller. Some 30 bands are really lose on me so i take them in but then some 32 bands fit???

I been measured in all different shops and most have said 30B. I just don't get it xx

I don't really. I think I can fit a 32A or 32B but then I fit a 30D too, and that's what I've been told I am.
