1 wk post op boobs look different
Ok so today is a week post op for me. So I took a pic of my boobs. They're still pretty high n hard bit one looks like it dropped more and the other looks rounder. I had my post op appt wit my ps yesterday and he said everything looked good. I guess this is what is meant when they say each one heals different. And one of them you could see my veins all green and stand out more. Well besides that I'm already starting to massage them and hopefully they look better when I go to my next appt. In 2 weeks. I go back to.work tomorrow so hopefully everything goes ok because I'm still sore. And my boobs look kinda weird in my regular tops lol. Sorry to go on and on just wanted to ahare with you guys.

This is all pretty normal hun, mine were different for a long time. Make sure you take it easy whenyou go back to work, I know when I went back I was REALLY tired for the first few days xx

As Phoebe has said, it's all pretty normal hunnie, you have a lot of changes to come. As for looking weird, could this be down to you not being used to big boobies and you just look completely different now compared to what you did before. It can take a while for you to adjust to your new body image.

The veins on my boobs were like a green roadmap. They do go away though eventually. Thats why they say its two separate ops because both sides heal differently. In time they will even up and I'm sure you will be very happy : )

Hi hun, as the girls said, they do heal completely seperately from each other so it's quite normal to see differencies until they settle completely, within your natural 'pocket'
The veins are also normal hunnie, but mine started to fade after a while and they are not too bad at all now, so don't worry, they should get better over time.
You will be sore for a while yet babes, so take it easy at work (if that's possible) and I hope you continue to heal well. By the way, BIG CONGRATS......

Hey sweetie,
I'm 6 days post op and mine look totally different, i also have more swelling on one, i'm not worried as all the girls have said they will settle at different rates and i know i have a long way to go.
I have lots of appointments with the nurses for dressing changes etc but don't see my PS until 1 month post op is this normal, everyone else seems to see theres much earlier?

Re: 1 wk post op boobs look different
Sounds completely nomal hun, my boobs were odd hard and high up for a good while. As for viens yes they can be more noticeable for a while because the skin is stretched so is much thinner than normal. It does thicken back up though, skin heals very quickly.

Thanks girls. It's great to hear it is normal. I know I have heard you guys say it already but its just that when you see them like that its kinda shocking. but I guess I.expe cted it. can't wait for them to start looking better and actually get soft. when does that usually begin to happen?
