Re: advice - stretch marks
At about 2 months i had the same problem i was absolutly gutted i wrote a post on here about it, i think because my boobs wernt fully settled, i had stretch marks & my scars at the time were red the combination of things made me feel so much worse about them then they actually were.
As they settled my stretch marks have faded so much u cant even see them any more i was so so suprised because i have some on my hips which are stil pinkish and been there ages, i have used palmers cream for stretch marks about £5 from superdrug i love this, didnt really like bio oil it made me feel greasy & come out in spots.
I do use the cream every now and then but not all the time i always forget to do it but now im 7 months on and u cant notice the marks AT ALL now they have practicly gone.
Just give your boobs a chance to settle, try out the cream & fake tan is also a life saver whilst your waiting for them to fade! xxxxxxxxxxx

Re: advice - stretch marks
Aw hun, it's just one of those things that can happen, you've had quite large implants so the skin had a lot of stretching to do. Nothing can prevent them, but you can help them fade quickly with creams like bio oil and palmers cocoa butter. They should fade to little silver lines.
Re: advice - stretch marks
Hi hun, the girls have given you some good advice, can i ask did you use any oils or lotions pre-op and post op?
I used Palmers cocoa butter pre and post and continue to do so, but I'm a little concerned now because I thought if I was going to get them I would have had some sign of them before now, but as you are 3 months post op and I am just behind you, I'm not that sure now if I've escaped them or not.... :pale:

No, you shouldn't be putting anything on until the incision has completely scatted over and the scars have dropped off.
Use a damp (not wet) fresh clean flannel (or baby wipes) to wipe over the tops of them to keep the skin clean, but nothing anywhere near the scars until you get the OK to do so from your surgeon.

@GymChick and Carol-ROLFMAO! "Scatted" I just assumed it was another piece of UK lingo for scabbed-LOL-OMG, I am SO glad I kept reading on, as I have had the occasion to use UK lingo on here when appropriate, and am "oh so" glad I did NOT decide to use scatted! hehehehe- XX

Re: advice - stretch marks
BTW-Sorry to be off topic-I got carried away with Carol's comment-as for the stretch marks, I am less far along than you post-op and like Jolene already had stretch marks (although visually faded, you could feel them still) due to pregnancy/nursing. However, if those suckers faded, I am quite sure your BA stretchies will too-Don't you worry about it, just enjoy the new boobies :good: XX

Re: advice - stretch marks
02050Mama thanks for the comment, im currently using palmers coca butter and hopefully they'll fade. i've been greasing them up every morning and night and piling the cream on, also taken to sleeping back in a bra as i think this may not have helped. i've stopped going to my zumba classes as well in case its the jumping that caused the skin to stretch. I'm praying i will be ok. I've noticed some stretch marks on my hips but they're white so im hoping that this is a good sign....bit concerned now as if i catch a tan will the 'lines' be visible, i don't want to look a freak!!! xx

Re: advice - stretch marks
palmers cream is also what i used, but for my stomach during pregnancy, it worked well, if you look in the private forums of what we all look like, i have a pic up and you can see i didnt end up with hardly any, and the ones i do have you cant see... only i can bc im a perfectionist.... i also heard bio oil helps, and there are porducts out there that fade/reduce the look of stretch marks/scars, so id look into using those maybe also./// good luck hun xoxox

Re: advice - stretch marks
rest assured they will fade hun. I had stretchmarks on boobs and stomach from pregnancy and they are just little silver lines now. Some huge ones on my belly are still noticeable but the boobs ones are hardly noticeable. Just give them time
