FAKE OR ENHANCED

I don't like them being called fake either =\ especially as lots of people have some of their own breast tissue to begin with anyway, no matter how little. So then even if they did want to call the implant fake breast tissue (which I suppose it is) then only a certain percentage of the breast itself is 'fake.' In my case I think I'm going to go about half and half... I already get really annoyed when people say I'm black (I'm HALF black dammit!!) so if I get my boobs done (note: enhanced, not fakeified!!) I'm gonna go mad if people statr calling them fake! I mean, if a girl with naturally big-ish boobs gets 100cc implants, she's probably only 20% 'fake'... but I bet people would still call hers fake too :rant:

I totally get what you mean about paying not to have to take them off lol that's why I want them! Surely it's more real to have them inside your body and permanently in place than outside and removeable!?

I do the thing with the nails too - I love wearing fakes, and though it doesn't bother me too much when people call them fake, it does bother me if people act like it's a problem. 'Those aren't real nails.' 'Really? Well I can see them, and you can see them, and I think you'll find that when I scratch your eyes out you'll be able to feel them too... that makes them pretty real'

I'm not a huge Amy Winehouse fan but one of my favourite quotes from her is from a TV show (Never Mind the Buzzcocks or something like that?) where someone asked her if the hair was all hers: 'yeah it is mine, cause... I bought it.'

My boyfriend frequently greets me with 'Hello! And that's not your hair' when I turn up wearing my clip-ins. Dumbass, of course it is, I paid for it with my own money and everything! *slap*

Maybe we should go looking for fillings and talk about their fake teeth...

I think my boobs are more real now, the padding is inside me instead of in my bra. And I'm loving it - threw away 5 32A gel bras today, never gone to be worn by me again!!

i prefer fake boobs much better to real and dont care if i get dirty looks or girls say shes get fake boobs cause im not ashamed of them im proud and can now hold my head up high bcause i have so much more confidence than i did b4 when i was flat chested xxxx

i dont really care if people call them fake or not. Depends on how derogatory theyre being.
As has been said, you dont say people with dental work have got fake teeth. My front teeth are all crowns after a bike accident as a kid, and noone gives any bad remarks because of that. Mind you, noones given me any bad remarks cos of my boobs either. The worst comment ive had is my boyfriends best friend saying that he didnt believe in cosmetic surgery and i should be happy with what ive got, and that he preferred women without makeup too - so pretty tame really. He hasnt commented since i had them done though, except to ask me if it hurt

It doesnt really bother me too much what people call them, in fact I call them fake boobs too, but that is probably more because that is what people in general refer to implants as. I personally feel like they are completely mine, and by hearing somone say "fake boobs" doesnt make me feel like they are less mine. I also wear fake nails, I have hair extentions, I wear fake tan in the winter and I even get Botox... all of those "fake" things though are just my personal way of being me and being happy with me. I am quite content with who I am and if someone wants to think negatively about me because of that, well thats their damn problem! I am me, all me and proud of me... fake boobies an all!
