FAKE OR ENHANCED

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same? It annoys the hell out of me when I hear the words "fake boobs" . I much prefer the word enhanced. Fake boobs to me are the ones you see in the joke shops in Blackpool. When a man has penis enlargement you don't hear anyone saying " oh he's got a fake penis" or if someone puts a larger exhaust on their car its not called a fake exhaust, fake to me means not real, well my breasts are very real, the pain I went through having my boob job proves they are real, they have just been enhanced.
Maybe I am just pernickety because I was an English teacher who has a boob job, but it really gets my back up. How do you feel about it?

To be honest it doesnt bother me that much. What does bother me is when people think I'm a fake person cos I had a BA. A girl I went to school with called me 'fake' cos someone who I thought was a friend told her about my boobs. I dont really see how I can be a fake person just cos I had the guts to get myself something I wanted very much.

Sorry bit off topic there but it does annoy me when people use it in that kind of context. x

That's just how I feel about it too Shelle. I never really thought about it in any depth before, I just knew it mildly irritated me and I do think that 'enhanced' sounds, not only more grammatically correct, but much nicer too.

I actually class them as 'my boobs'..there in my body & they are mine & part of 'me'.................&I dare anyone to tell me any different! lol


I guess i see it as i had breast augmentation the get 'boobs' & that what i now have wether it be body fat , saline or silicon ...there just boobs to me & i think anyone who outright use's the term 'fake' or 'not real' is just green with envy as nither term is a nice one to use to someones face is it?

I had a off handed comment from a friend who has noticed my B.A but i have not outright told anyone...........he said 'yes back when you used to have real ones......' I just replied ' there real now!'

I completely agree it annoys me too that it only applies to boobs when ther is so much fakery in everyday life and the malice in which some people say it really bugs me. If you have your breasts enhanced you suddenly become some sort of bimbo in some peoples eyes regardless of what you do, you could be a nuclear physicist but if you had your boobs done you'd be a bimbo. I am the same intelligence wise as I was before but I know I would be taken less seriously if people knew about it. Confidence wise now thats another matter which is why I had them done in the first place to feel better about myself. x

but there is such a stigma surrounding implants, because people who don't know any better think it's done by shallow little bimbos who want to sleep around a lot and get loads of attention by taking their clothes off. They think it means you're stupid and vain. It's ridiculous! We have to live in a world where the media portray "perfection" to us at every step of the way and men aren't the only culprits who like looking at half naked women... we all love it too!!

We are condemned by a society who insist on telling us how we should look because we try to look a certain way!!

Who gives a jolly roger if a girl is a shallow bimbo getting her boobs done anyway?! Good for her!!! Each to their own I say. And if someone wants to suggest to me that I'm a fake person because I have fake boobs... well, fine. I guess I must be then. And on I go with my day...

I'm sure most of it is jealousy. It's their insecurity coming through because we have, or had, the confidence/funds/sense to do something about what made us insecure and now we are happy (or will be) happy with our bodies.

Hopefully not threadjacking here, but I also hate it when people say that having a breast augmentation is 'letting the sisterhood down'. We should be able to do whatever we like to our bodies, whatever the motivation or reason. I'm looking forward to having a body that I'm even happier with. You need confidence before you can feel empowered.

I'm with you Shelle, "fake" gets me quite riled up. Enhanced is a much better, and more accurate, word for BA

There is nothing fake about my boobies to be - they are gonna be part of me and I'm not fake! I'm very much real!!!

I`m sure there are lot`s of girls out there who have ample size breast`s but still enhance them with padding are they fake breasts too?. One thing i have noticed i think the term bimbo for getting your boob`s done is very very wrong. has anyone else noticed there seems to be a hell of a lot of strong minded intelligent women on here and thats what it takes to make the decision to go ahead with this informed type of surgery so yay to us enhanced ladies xxx

Completely agree with the whole fake/enhanced argument.

I had a fixed brace on for over two years to 'enhance' my very crooked teeth ... I did it because I didn't like my teeth, had the opportunity to change it and had the money for the treatment. No-one has ever referred to them as 'fake'. Yet, exactly the same principles apply to my boobs ... I have merely enhanced what was there. Before the op I made do with sweaty chicken fillets. Then I made an educated, informed decision to have implants.

It hasn't taken away any of my qualifications, nor has it stopped me from performing the job that I am paid to do. What it has done is to make me far more confident about how I look, which then has a knock-on effect to how I act.

Here's to our enhanced assets ... long may they make us real people for facing up to something that made us unhappy!!

He get's this tendon above his **naughty word** cut and they draw more of his penis from inside his body out to the external. However, with a boob job a fake piece of material is defo being put inside. So I do see them as fake. I've never seen it as anything but personally.

I don't think a lot of people like the concept of 'fake' which to me is like when the boobs are so obviously fake you can tell straight away. I don't mind having fakes I just don't want them to look fake. As for people hang-ups on girls being fake coz they've had a BA. I couldn't give a damn. I'm spending over 4 grand on my opinion. Not yours.

"Fake" doesn't bother me, they are what they are, a foreign body deliberately inserted to augment appearance.

So true, enhanced sounds so much nicer doesn't it? The word 'fake' means 'not real' - oh yes they are!! The Ouch factor is proof of that..

If 'man boobs' ever became fashionable I don't think they would be frowned upon as much as women are for having their boobs ENHANCED.... it's usually MEN that do all the frowning and tut-tutting while their drooling over them...... xx

I don't think so. I think it's women who do a lot of the negative bitchy judging. And it's nastier when they do it. They should know better. I think some of them are jealous cause a flatty is now capable of getting a lot more attention. Maybe they feel threatened. But they shouldn't. Didn't cost them four grand for a nice rack. Like in a lot of girls families who have found out they have had a boob job, it's the mums and aunts that get upset. Or maybe it just wasn't so popular in their day and they just can't get their heads round it. Who knows?
But I don't have a problem with the word 'fake'. They are. They're not organic breasts. Big deal.

It does make me giggle to hear 'false boobs' though.

Makes me think of false legs or false teeth.....like you could take them off for easier cleaning etc

mine are just inflated lol,i have back a little more than i used to,
people can call them anything they like,everyone will form an opinion,and opinions are just like a**e holes everone has one,doesnt mean we like em.

Yeah it annoys me aye. My sisters boyfriend wasnt that supportive to start with and said she was getting "bolt on boobs" (were having them done together and shes rather sensetive about others comments). I would prefer that they are thought of as enhanced too - We have boobs - We just want to enhance them!

I dont really care what people call them... I am proud of the fact I have implants, everyone knows & alot of my customers do too iv not talked about anything else lol

Personally I find 'fake' boobs more attractive than 'real' boobs & soon will have a nice rack which I will flaunt at every occasion lol

Like I said before, this for me was no more than changing my appearance. Same as my tattoos/piercings ... So alot of me is 'fake' I guess.. Im still the same person I was before.

It doesn't bother me either way really except when my duaghter flaunts her naturally large assets and says thing like well mine are big and real and I got them for free, she isn't be nasty just joking around but when she says things about mine not being real it does hurt abit. If anyone esle were to say anything I would just think it's their problem and get over it.

I do love listening to people talking about 'fake/enhanced boobs' espeacially as not many people know I have had one BA let alone two. I love to hear them judging and putting everyone in the Jordan/bimbo category and think to myself if only you knew because I am defeinately not like that I am quite an introvert person with bigger boobs and a bit more confidence.

I had false nails on (work as an electrician) and a guy said to me, 'theyre not your real nails' I replyed 'I think you'll find they are, I paid for them and as you can see theyre not pretend'

It makes me laugh too ha ha leave them on the nightstand for a comfier nights sleep. I paid £4k so I didn't have to take my boobs off when I took my bra off lol in my opinion they were much "faker" then!
