Holiday experiences
Do they float when in the pool? I'm so scared because I have visions of jumping in the pool and the force of the water rips open the scar...then to top it off as I'm treading water they float above lol.....or do big boobs float in the water anyway whether natural or not

Re: Holiday experiences
Boobs float a bit natural or not. Not to the top of the water though. You wont be allowed to swim for 6 weeks due to risk of infection. So by the time you're allowed in the pool, your scars will be fully closed.
Re: Holiday experiences
I must admit I didn't even think about it when I was allowed to go swimming after my 4 week check up. They just behaved like ordinary boobs as far as I could tell. For instance if I was swimming on my front, they didn't suddenly flip me over so that I was on my back :heehee:

Re: Holiday experiences
The first few times I went swimming post op (about 3 or 4 months afterwards) they did feel a bit odd - I put it down to a combination of the muscles still healing and the extra resistance (bigger boobies!!) through the water. x

Haha sofee you will be fine hun, by then you will be 5/6 months PO and be fine to swim ect. You'll just have to be careful with your scars in the sun cos they are not suppose to be exposed to direct sunlight for 12months. xx
