smurph I feel the same as you my BA is on 16th April, this up and down feeling is crazy, I know I want it done but then negative thoughts enter my mind then I start looking at other women around me they seem to be just as small or even smaller than me but seem happy, then I started to think oh my natural size is ok then I realise I am wearing my chicken fillet then reality sets in (presently 34AA) it feel as if the right hand side is talking to the left hand side of my brain yes no yes no arrrrrrhhhhhhhhh(state of mind at the moment roll on April yipee

I have to be kicked out of this april buddies thread...

because I have brought my surgery forward by two weeks, and now my surgery is on the 24th of march...! ah sooo excited now..! Stars

Its just hit me that this time next month I WILL have lovely (slightly sore, swollen, ugly) but all the same lovely new boobs!!!!

19 days for me girls!! My aplogies if i don't respond if you respond to me, i only come on here once a week, makes it more exciting for me as a whole week has gone so i can count down :-) this time in 3 weeks i'll be home with very sore boobs, but so will be worth it!! Good luck to any of you who are before me, as I might forget to check back and wish you luck! Keep us posted with how you're feeling after your ops! xxx

You are right smurph it is so worth it. 3 weeks will fly by hun. How good are you only coming on here once a week I couldn't manage that in the run up to my op I had too many questions and panics lol all worth it though x

Yeah seems comfy looks a bit pathetic on my pre op boobies though! I got one in black. It's really stretchy and soft where the insicions will be, my only complaint is that it's a bit high up towards the arm pits but maybe just my weird shape! Xx

You'd be surprised how far up you might need the support. I had most of my swelling and bruising at the sides. Hope all goes well for you x

Hey Charls what is the date of your op mine is Sat 16th April getting nervous and excited at the same time, what have you bought so far, I went into town in my lunch hour and saw loads of nice tops in dorothy perkins which were all summer top and in the sale already but I thought that I should wait until after the op to see what size I will end up I want a full D cup as at the present AA so going for 380cc I am having unders Hug

It would be great if all of the April Buddies keep updating each other on how we get on straight after the op, like the March buddies it seems like it would help during the healing process,

Hey Jen,

Im getting mine done a week before you (9th) i cant wait now! When i first joined this site and i saw all these girls banging on about the different emotions i just thought 'yeah right, its only a boob job' but MY GOD i've felt every emotion under the sun and im still 3 weeks away!!

Ive got some bits such as zip up tops and my V pillow. I cant find any nice button up PJ's anywhere tho! they all seem to have daft farm animals on or something really cheesy!! And ive started with the Bio Oil and Cocoa butter to prevent the stretch marks! Im going for 410/480 unders. Currently a 34b and hoping for a DD/E. xxx

Hi Ya Chals like you I thaught yeah right only only a boob job and I too have gone through so much emotions, next week I am going to see a breast nurse after speaking to her about my concerns on which size to go for you informed me that something new has come out where you can take in the bra size you want to be then try implants not sure what this system is but I will let you know my appointment is next friday then on 8th April I have my pre-admission appointment.
I bought all my zip top pj from la senza I am fussy when it comes to nightwear, I like wearing only silk, they had plain black, red, pink so you should try there, I have bought my v pillow (only bought it because some lovely ladies here recommended it, I have started using it to get use to it, which has worked it so comfortable which I had bought it years ago) I have my oil too Hug

Do u use bio oil before? I thought it was only after? I was told 2 weeks after I can start putting it on my scars? Are the v pillows any good? Where do u get them from? I'm still not at the point of emotions, just feel excited, is this normal? I'm sure I'll get nervous before the day! How long for everyone now? Xxx shrug

Don't be scared Gabby I can't tell you how many time I bought support bra ready for my new boobies then taking back thinking I have bought the wrong size, I think I will wait I see the breast nurse on friday who will help me to decide what size implant to go for I want a full D I am having unders at the moment I am looking at having 380 if the surgeon will let me, I think he is aiming for 350 as longs as I get my D cup I guess I don't mind Hug
