April Buddies!

Hey girls!!

Just thought I'd give you an update.

Today was my big day, had to get to hospital for 7.00, went down for surgery at 8.40 and was done for 10.00. I cane round from anesthetic at 10.30 and an now out of my recovery and in my own room.

I can't believe it but the only bandaging I have on is over my stitches, meaning I get to stare at my new boobies already!! I expected them to look a bit strange at first but hey they look fantastic, I am over...the...MOON!!!!

granted, I do feel as though a small elephant is sitting on my chest but the pain is nowhere near as bad as what I expected!

Exciting times for us lot! :D

Girls i'm in a major stress mode!! I keep looking at what size everyone is getting and i'm worried i'm not getting big enough!!

I'm a 34B at the min, i'm having 340 or 380 dependent on the day of what fits, but i think i definitely want the bigger, i want to be a DD, does this sound about right? What is everyone else having? xx

Well i was a 34b and a size 8/10 and just had 420cc's. The surgeon told my nurse to try me in a c or a d and I was mortified!! However I am pretty sure im about a d but they are absolutely solid at the mo so hopefully they will be about a DD once they fluff. Do they get bigger when they fluff? Are you getting overs or unders? My surgeon estimated I'd be a DD with mine but it depends on your breast width diameter.. mine is 12cm. I would say you shouldget around a D so fingers crossed for the DD!!

Thanks Lolo, i'm having overs, and i remember him saying something about 12cm so same as u i think! OOh i hope so! I'm ringing my coordinator friday to finalise everything so i think i'll ask her about it! Thanks though that's helped!!! xx

smurph532 hun don't panic.
I am only getting 200cc so you are getting way bigger than me....
It all depends on the outcome you want, if you want a natural look or a fake look, and how much room/breast tissue you already have to accommodate the implants.
Im sure you dont want too have rippling or bad stretch marks; or risk any complications.
Your surgeon really should go through it all with you, if your still not happy make another appointment to see him and make it clear what size you want to be.
In the end, when your PS is taking a couple of sizes into the theatre it is what your body will accommodate safely that he will choose for you.
I understand completely about wanting to go bigger, gee if i had a choice i'd go way bigger than i am allowed, but can't, and have no choice - i'm just happy that i will be a bit bigger than i am now....
Its alot of money and a big procedure so you are best being 100% sure.

Thanks for asking, I'm feeling great! No pain as such, just a bit achey and uncomfortable. I am actually really suprised at how mobile I am considering I had unders!

Also I'm bored as I've been on my own since I came upto ny room apart from the nurses popping in!

Shanny... what size are you hoping to achieve?

I am having unders too - so it's nice to hear you aren't in pain, hope it continues that way for you.....

I'm heading home around tea time. To be honest I feel as though I could go home now! All I'm doing is watching tv or reading a magazine!
The bed here is one of those memory foam ones and I feel as though I could easily go to sleep. I just hope I can sleep well at home.

I will certainly keep you updated on my recovery so you know what to expect when your big day comes around :)

OMG time is nearly here, Think Im possibly the first or one of the first anyway. Im not really excited at all but think its cos its my 2nd BA and im not really going much bigger either if at all, depends what he decides on the day but will be nice to have the PIP's out.

AND....i have an admission time of 07.30 aywell suppose that more time to work of the GA before going home....

That's what size I wanted and I'm defo not. Right now I would say a D and obv that's with swelling too! I'm really disappointed but I'm hoping they will get bigger when they fluff?? I dunno if this us the case though :/

I'm home now and the pain has kicked in and stupid things that you wouldn't expect are hurting my boobs, like walking upstairs! Feeling sorry for myself now Haha xxx

Ah no Hun don't worry about feelng soz about yourself u have been through alot today x I hope u have a good night sleep and top ur self up with some pain killers and hopefully the pain will ease off xx pls keep us up to date x

Jen babes it's tuesday next week!! I'm in real panic mode! I have loads of uni work to do and I can't concentrate at all! I never felt nervous i was just excited until yesterday and it hit me it's less than a week! 5 days!!!! When's yours? xx

Big hugs to you Lolo...Course your going to be feeling sorry for yourself, its only natural!!

I have pre warned my OH about just how bad i could could be, pain, needing him to do stuff etc and he's just like 'yeahh yeah it wont be that bad' He's also got it in his head that the new fun bags will be good to go straight away! I told him it would be at LEAST 6 weeks until they can be touched properly..'ohhh, right' two minutes later i see him working out 6 weeks from my BA and then he pipes up 'JESUS Charlotte..Thats like the end of MAYYYY!!!!'

Im on the single figure countdown now!!! x
