I'm only having small implants too Drea; 265 or 295cc depending on what he thinks looks the best. That's the biggest I can go apparently.
What size are you having?

Re: April Buddies!
Hiya Gabby
I'm only having 200cc or 220cc
I really wanted 280 but my PS said he wouldn't do it.
I'm not 100% sure why he won't but i am guessing it is because of the rippling and how far the skin can/will stretch.
I've learned to accept thats as big as i can get, at least its alot better than what i am at the moment with my pancakes HEHE!
Do you know if you're having overs or unders yet?
Alot of girls on here say that smaller implants look good too - hope they are right

I'm having overs.
I think your boobs will look great, really natural. What's your rib measurement Drea?
You could go up 3 sizes even with 220's.

Re: April Buddies!
Got nothing!!
Well, I've bought Arnica but that's it.
I'm holding off on the sports bra because I'll get one from the surgeon. Then I'll know what size to get when I buy one.
Been searching for button front pj's and can't find any I like, or a dressing gown for that matter.
Where have you all bought them from?
Just 18 more sleeps to go

Re: April Buddies!
Got the pillow for £8.99 from Argos.
Got pjs and a button up shirt nighty from ethalaustins they had closed down but opened again before christmas and still open now. Paid £4 for pj's (black & white zebra type print) and £3 for nighty so not complaining as dont plan to keep them for long. just until I can lift arms.
Got the Bra from debenhams for £26 on sale. Got 34 instead of 32 and got D cup.
My PS said no for me taking Arnica, so just need bio oil now I think eeeek so much to remember

aww thanks Hun x I really hope your right!
I can't wait - excited but nervous....
my ribs measure 28.
I am sure the PS knows what he is doing, i dont mind the fake look to be honest - but i guess having a small frame there is only so much room in there to put anything in. xx
Did your PS give you size options?
Are you happy with the size he is willing to do for you?
I also heard that having unders means you loss 10% off the outcome size... i really hope not!!

Hi Butterfly
I have my v shaped pillow I have been using it so that when it comes to my ba, it wont feel awkward. I bought my PJ from lasenza bought 3 pair in the sale, I have also bought the Tamanu Oil ready to massage and two po surgery bra from asda, I think I may as the hospital if they supply the bra just in case I have bought the wrong size. I am having unders tomorrow I am seeing the nurse to chat over stuff she told me to bring in the bra I want to be, so that we can check implant size then she will let the surgeon now, but of cause he will have the final yes. I have my pre admission on the 8th April

Re: April Buddies!
Hey Rae and everyone..
The pre op was fine, far less than i expected, blood preassure, height, weight, the usual list of about 1000 questions and pre op photos were taken! The nurse ran through just about everything, warned me that i will be walking into surgery and it can be quite daunting if you've never seen it before etc. Felt a bit sick when i was bashing in my bank card numbers into the card machine..Parting with all that cash!!!
I came away with a handful of letters and info booklts and im feeling really up for it now, just want these two weeks to fly! I confirmed that i would like that the the 460CC but the nurse confirmed that both sizes will be taken into the surgery and it will be a case of if the bigger size fits than it will go in!! So fingers crossed!!!

Re: April Buddies!
Hello Girls I saw the nurse today who will be looking after me after my ba and we went through sizes my aim is 390max 350min she did say it would be up to the surgeon on the day as I am having unders so it depends what will fit as long as I get up with a Dcup I don't mind not looking to be bigger, the nurse was so nice I said I was scared and excited and she knew exactly what I meant, it really isn't long now for all of us never heard of arnica but after reading the forum I think I am going to prepare myself and get it over the weekend.
How is everyone feeling right now

Re: April Buddies!
Hun you really should ask your nurse/PS before taking arnica; i was told not to take anything 2weeks before my op; so it is best to check first to be 100% sure xx
I hope you get the size you want.
The nerves are kicking in now for me, hope you are all doing ok, not long now

Re: April Buddies!
Yeah Jen my PS told me not to take it as I have never had it before. Can only guess that maybe ppl have reaction to it sometimes hun xxx
Re: April Buddies!
Aww its great you have a lovely nurse who is looking after you.
The girl who did my bloods etc was lovely too, but i wont be seeing her again until after the op. although she reassured me the nurses in the hospital will be lovely aswell.
I would like to be at least a D but i don't think thats going to be possible as i'm only "allowed" 200-220cc max. but i'm getting used to the idea of being in proportion rather than just wanting big big big - if that makes sence.
Trying to convence myself that if i only end up a B - that is bigger than what i am at the moment and thats got to be a positive thing!
It's really good jen that your surgeon is giving you the option and going to take different sizes into surgery to try. :flowers:

Re: April Buddies!
Hi again Drea I received an email from the nurse I saw (I was surprised I received the email same day as seeing her) anyway she was just confirming what we had discussed and also emailed my surgeon, it was good having a chat as she confirmed that it will be the surgeon final decission on the size on the day, so like you I am focused on proportion, than big big big she relayed to me proportion to my body size was more important if I wanted the natural look, ( didn't realise that) so that was what we focused on,at the end of the day anything as got to be better than being an A cup

Re: April Buddies!
Hello ladies!
I've been shopping!!
I got the V pillow, thanks to Butterfly for the reccy for Argos.
I've bought my pj's slippers and dressing gown, picking them up from M&S when I get back off my hols next weekend.
I've gone for a 34DD sports bra (£8 from Sainsburys), which is really comfy. I'm a 30D at the moment, but thought I'd allow for swelling.
I've booked my hair appt for the Sun (Monday is BA day) & I'm booked in for eyelash/brows tint/wax & pedicure on Sunday afternoon.
So that's me sorted [grin]
Just waiting now. I'm being admitted at 12pm, wonder what time I'll go to theatre?
