So sorry that after all your build up to your BA it has to now be resheduled and your OH had booked time off work if I remember correctly. Can he continue working this week and not lose his holiday entitlement? - as YOU ARE STILL GOING TO GET NEW BOOBS - just not tomorrow. Sending you a big hug - and hope you can re-book really soon. xxxxx

I've been offerred a date in 2 weeks time, but depends on OH's work commitments (he'll go into work next week now). I woke this morning feeling pretty calm and as mentally prepared as I'll ever be, so finding out with less than 24hrs to go has wrecked my head a bit. I even got my underarms waxed this morning for the first time ever Shocked owwch

Aww that's crap. What an anticlimax. I think the worst part is all the planning you've done to be overhauled. But in two weeks you'll have your long awaited baps. Its better to let your surgeon re-cooperate though, isn't it? Wouldn't want him swaying around with the scalpel sneezing and coughing into your wounds. Eurgh!

Oh No, what a shame hun, I really feel for you. We all know how worked up you get pre-op, not sleeping, butterflys in the tummy kinda stuff....what a bummer!!!
I hope you can re-schedule without too much disruption and be back on here soon with your new date.

Oh sweety, that is the pits. So sorry, all the build up. I'm sure it will fly by and when you get them you will forget this set back. You have to think that you have waited this long..what's another two weeks xxx

in a way its lucky he came down with it now in advance. I bet all the patients he operated on in the last couple of days are gonna get it themselves now and that could be really nasty when youre recovering from an operation

Thank you all for your kind words xxx. I've always felt so grateful to have found this forum, but never more so than today. I was feeling so sorry for myself earlier, but there are big things happening in the world and I'm fortunate to have this opportunity at all so if I have to wait 2 weeks then so be it. But if Mother Nature thinks that giving my surgeon flu is gonna stand in the way of me getting what she denied me all those years ago, she has another thing coming!

Oh no! Still, like the others say, it can't be helped and a few weeks delay is nothing in the grand scheme of things. And from what I've read I think Adam Topping is a surgeon who is definitely worth waiting for

Oh hun, so very sorry - what an absolute pain, you must be so disappointed. However, better he cancelled than struggled through the op under par and didn't give you a 100% job. My surgeon had flu before Christmas & cancelled his last operating list in December.

You should do something lovely with your OH this weekend in compensation - a lovely dinner - or failing that go & buy a gorgeous new pair of shoes!

:console: So sorry to hear the bad news, what a let down! Now you have 2 more weeks to wait... ahhh the stress and anxiety... I would be upset too!

I am a big believer everything happens for a reason... and even though it doesnt feel like it now, the 2 weeks will fly by and before you know it you will be at home recovering with your new boobies!
