Hi Girls,

I have posted a few times concerned with my right boob as it has not felt right since my op.

Basically my right breast sits a lot higher than my left and it looks a lot smaller. It is very obvious when i am wearing no bra and is really getting me down. I am embarassed to show anyone my new boobs because of it..

Left breast looks nice and full at bottom but right one seems fuller at the top which makes the nipples look uneven. My scars underneath are also uneven. The right scar sits perfectly in the crease and left one sits sort of a few cms onto breast. It sounds very confusing but they are quite different.

I visited my surgeon and he showed me before pics and said that myright breast was higher before surgery and smaller which is why they look different. He told me to wear a band and go back in 6 months but basically said this is how they are going to look as this is how they were before surgery. Thing is he gave me the same size implant in both breasts and never said before they were different sizes or that one was sitting higher than the other. ( i never noticed either becuase they were soo small :heehee: ) Should he not have made the pocket lower and given me a larger implant if this is the case or can they make the pocket lower?

Before the surgery the mamager was soo nice calling me to get me to book surgery etc but since then she makes me feel like im anoying them and is very rude. Im now thinking that i might go to another clinic to see if i can get it fixed
:(
Should i go back to my original surgeon? Is there anything he can do to fix it even?

Oh ?I just want to be happy with them and am now thinking if i go on holiday this year i will be soo paranoid in a bikini as they will be so different :(

Any advice is really appreciated xx

As you have asked James the same question, maybe an answer from him might be more appropriate as he has far more expertise than we could ever hope to have.
However, I am very surprised that if your surgeon noticed the difference in size beforehand, he didn't make any attempt to correct this difference.
Also did he not make you wear a chest strap as this helps push the implant down - especially if you had unders?? If you wore a chest strap, how long did you wear it for??
Sorry, more questions than answers I'm afraid pet

Hi hun, I had this problem and have recently had a re-op to fix it.
My surgeon moved the higher riding implant down a bit. They are still a little different but the improvement is huge so I think there is probably something he can do if it is that bad. Do YOU think the implant is placed too high, or can you now see the difference from your pre-op pictures?

If you think there is something he can do I would persist with them and if they do not budge write a letter of complaint. Could you ask for a second opinion with a different surgeon maybe? Or go to a different company for a second opinion and go back to your PS to say you have had a second opinion etc etc.

Sorry to hear you're having problems honey. Hattie is right - keep on at them and don't be intimidated by the manager. If something is wrong you deserve to have them fixed.
