Boobs & Babys
Hi All, I was just wondering because i already have a child but in a few years will want to have another baby. I am booked in to have my surgery in feb. Some people have said to wait until after I have had all of my children but I dont want to wait that long, hence why I have booked for feb. I am 27 and feel like I have waited long enough, plus I dont feel ready for any more children yet, I am happy with my little family at the moment and feel very content the way things are. My daughter is 3 and I dont plan for anymore until she starts school.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what their boobs are like after having a baby if they already had their implants? Some have said that I'm wasting my money because they will be "ruined" after another child. I know it probably makes sence to wait but I dont even know if I will be able to afford a boob job once I have another child and a morgage..
Anyway, I have paid my deposit now so no backing out - 25th Feb 2010!!! xxx

I think the sensible thing would be to wait if you're planning to extend your family in the near future, but if you're determined to have your surgery now then don't give it another thought hun. Yes, your pregnancy 'may' have an effect on your boobs, it may not, everyone is different so where pregnancy may effect one womans augmentated boobs, it might not effect another, it all depend on the elasticity of your skin... but if you're happy to take that chance then just go ahead and enjoy the new additions hunni. xx
Re: Boobs & Babys
ive heard some people say pregnancy makes their boobs look more natural after boob jobs,
Theres a girl on here called Jessica and she is pregnant at the min think she has had her boobs for less than a year she has a pregnancy diary on here too maybe you could ask her some questions xxx

Yep I'm preggy hun and my boobs aren't too bad at the mo, I have a diary you can read in the diary section. Once you've joined in a bit more ang got a few more posts under your belt I don't mind showing you my pics and you can see how they've changed so far.
In my opinion because I didn't have much natural tissue to start with, there hasn't been much change because my boobs are mostly implant! I have a few stretchies on the underside, but nowhere near as bad as I thought they wouldbe, it's mostly my nipples that have changed the most but that happens with everyone and they should go back to how they were.
My pregnancy was unplanned and if someone had told me the day I had my op that I would be pregnant in 9 months time, I wouldn't have had the surgery, but hindsight is 20/20 and you can't plan for things in life. We all go into surgery with the knowledge that due to complications or just change in appearance that we may need re-ops later in life, so I say if you desperately want your boobs and you are comfortable with the idea that they may change during pregnancy, (they will not be "ruined" they will just look different) then you should go for it. xxx

Re: Boobs & Babys
I am pregnant too :-) I went ahead with my BA because there was no guarentees i would ever fall pregnant again....i need IVF you see. But it worked (My son was my 9th go so you can see why the possibilities were low) This was my 10th go & it worked!!! anyway...I do know breast feeding 'can' affect your boobies when you have had implants just like it can if you haven't, i never breast fed my son & i don't intend to breast feed this little (it just isn't for me).
Like Jess i didn't have too much breast tissue & i don't expect them to change that much.
I have a friend who has breast implants & had 2 children & the only reason she had them re-done was because of the dreaded PIPS....otherwise she wouldnt have had them re-done...they were fine.
I just know even after this baby they will still look better than what they did before. You need to decide whats right for you though honey xx

And I've also learnt that pregnancy and BF makes them look more "natural" but I have yet to see if that's the case. I am going to try breast-feeding and will be updating my diary as to how that goes.xxx
