CMH implants by allergan anyone??
Hi girls, after researching different types of implants I had set my heart on the soft touch natrelles as I'm having to have corrective surgery due to cc,rupture & rippling ( mind you old implants are 17 yrs old... & it shows!) My pcc has told me about an implant by allergan that u don't have to pay extra for (CMH)& she swears it's identical to the soft touch but without the fancy branding. I'd like to avoid paying the extra £500 for the soft touch & apparently these CMH implants have FDA approval unlike the CUIs. Has anyone heard of them? used them? liked them? Help... my surgery is this friday!!!!

I've only heard of the allergan CUI CMH implants. The CUI catalogue describes them as: CUI MicroCellTM Textured Cohesive Gel-
Filled Breast Implant, DRIETM Round, High Profile.
to view the catalogue click here
As they are the allergan CUI they aren't FDA approved and they will only be guarenteed for 10 years. Your PCC will lie to sell you anything. If you want the soft touch natrelles dont let them put you off.

I've just found the same as misf1. The CMH are actually of the CUI range... seems your PCC tried to pull the wool over your eyes hunni and lied to you... you must always remember sweetheart that the PCCs are actually just sales people at the end of the day and you should take advice of the type of implant yor having and what is best for you from your surgeon only hun.
If you want an FDA approved implant then stick with the Naturelles hun. xx
Which clinic was this babe?

Don't panic hun... you're obviously happy with your surgeon and the surgery plan so all you need decide is your choice of implant babe.
You now know that you're being offered either CUIs which aren't FDA approved but still a good implant with a 10 year guarantee or Naturelles which are FDA approved with a lifetime gurantee and the Naturelles will come at an extra cost... So you now hold 'the truth' hun and can make an 'informed' decision from there. xxx

I went for the soft touch naturelles....they do what they say on the tin! Feel GREAT already and that a lifetime guarantee puts my mind at rest too. Xxx

Re: CMH implants by allergan anyone??
My sis in law has just had her boobs redone after 7 yrs to go bigger. She also had an issue with rippling but she has lost lots of weight over the years. She went with Transform and had the CMH implants I googled them when I saw her implant card cos I hadnt heard of them. They are a more cohesive gel than the MHP range from what I can gather. I expect thats where the PC is getting her 'they are as good as soft touch' from . I agree with the other girls go with what you want not whats being 'sold'. However she is now 6 weeks post op and cant feel any rippling and is very happy with shape, size etc so they obviously are a decent choice if thats the way you go. Hope this helps.

Re: CMH implants by allergan anyone??
I had Allergen Natrelle implanted under the muscle 300cc 34A-B to a 34 C-D in May 2009, the left one deflated within 9 month, the right one just deflated this morning. It's Feb 24, 2011..Very bummed, and the first surgery was replaced free of charge by the surgeon, now I will have to see if I will have to pay for this right sided replacement...
