Hello all!

I am going to call my nurse tomorrow but just thought I would run this one past you lovely ladies first.

My BA is in 8 days yipee and I have had a skin flare up growl I normally take antihistamines for a few days and it clears up but I am concerned that I shouldn't be taking them so near my surgery shrug

Antihistamines & surgery Empty Re: Antihistamines & surgery

Hi, not sure this would be of any help but I'm on long term antihistamines and have asked my clinic about this they said it's no problem and it's often with some surgeries most commonly ENT (ear nose & throat) for them to actually prescribe an antihistamine as a pre med to dry up secretions.

Probably still best to check with your own clinic though. :)

I wouldn't think they would cause a problem but check with your clinic before taking them hun. Best to be sure.
