The Hospital Group 2005
Hi,
I am currently seeking legal advice with a firm a few other PIP girls are using.
I'm just filling in the initial information form, and one of the questions is asking what I was told about the implants I was having, for example make and model and how long they would last / how strong they were.
Now I was very young when I had the surgery and not only that but it was five years ago and I have very vague recollections of what was said!
I don't recall having ever been told the make and model of my implants - only that they were silicone. As to whether they were strong or not I can only remember being told they could last ten years or more?
Are there any other THG PIPS ladies about who could jog my memory? I know every consultation is different but just though it could refresh my memory!
Cheers

Also, did anyone get any leaflets or documents? I only remember getting information on aftercare, which I still have.

hi i went with the hg a few year ago and im getting mine replaced free of charge in 1 week i have had to keep ringing them and getting on their case but it has paid off i am still within the aftercare peiod though.i got told the same as you that they could last 10 years or longer and that they are silicone gel which means if they rupture the gel doesnt go anywhere how wrong that was as i have lumps in my lymph nodes which need to be removed
