300cc from an A cup? Also projection question??

Hi girls

I'm getting my boobies done in January, hoping to be a D cup, and have been offered 300cc overs at the most. Just wondered if anyone had had 300s put in and what size they got in the end? I'm worried I'll be a D initially then they'll shrink!

Ooh, and I'm 5"2, and around 8 stone! Does it make much of a difference though really with height?

Also I'm confused about this whole projection thing, I want a natural look so what should I be asking for, my ps discussed the look I wanted but never mentioned this. I'm going back in a couple of weeks for a 2nd consultation but would appreciate if any of you guys had info so I know what to be asking him?

Hi Hun, I am 5'1 and 8 stone.. I got 330cc unders and am now a c cup.. I was a small a beforehand. must say i wish now i had went bigger but everyone is different so you could end up a D cup if thats what ur ps advised.

Its very exciting for you getting them done..best of luck and make sure you are happy with the size you are getting.
Almost forgot I got medium projection as i wanted them to look natural and also as far as i am aware the higher projection the less width there is so it would depend on your build.. say you are very narrow build you might not be able to get low projection as the implant is wider than high so I am sure your ps will advise which will suit your frame best, I am quite narrow but wanted my breasts close together so he advised a medium as it was sligtly wider making them appear to have more of a clevage....correct me if i am incorrect on this one girls??

I had 300 unders was aa and got measured yesterday at a 28F . But I was wearing the wrong back size before, if I was still in a 34 I'd be about a D.
I am 5'4" and 8 stone. Had extra high profile as mods would have sat outside my natural breast pocket making the implant very visible and poss meant they would've been touching in middle.
Mine look natural, a v natural slope and not too close or far apart.

I had 340 overs and am now wearing a 32e or 32f. I had high profile implants. I am not entirely sure what size I was pre-op as I never really bothered to get fitted properly but I think I was around a 32b or c (but a very empty one)

If you stressed that it's a D cup you want from your surgery babe and your surgeon has said this can be achieved from the 300s, then I'd trust your surgeon hunni. Maybe when you go back for your 2nd consultation you could take pics in of the boobs you like showing your surgeon the shape and size you're after, it just gives the surgeon a better idea of what it is you're wanting as surgeons don't work in cup sizes they work in volume.

Yes, it makes a lot of difference when your surgeon is deciding your size, your frame and weight are also factors, along with how much body fat you have and how much breast tissue you have, even the sloping of your rib cage is a deciding factor on your resulting size! We're all different hun and if you read the stats thread here (sticky at the top of general breast aug section) you'll see that so many women even with similar stats achieve different resulting sizes from the same sized implant and the unique body measurements of each woman are the reason why.

The higher the projection, the narrower the implant, so the projection will depend on your frame and width of your rib cage, so your surgeon will be the best person to advise on this after seeing you.

Hey babes as cookie says listen to your surgeon I was like you and wanted to compare my size to everybody but its amazing the different results people get with the same size implant..... I was a 32aa before op had 295cc unders high profile and I've been messured anywhere between a 32 D to 30 E and there was me hoping at best to get a C hahhaha xxx

Hi Hun, I am 8st and 5ft 6in, I had 285 in left and 310 in right, overs I was a totally flat A cup, needed gel bra and chicken fillets to get any decent size boobs. I am now a 32D.
I agree with Cookie trust your surgeon to make the right decision on the size of the implants to give you the look you want. I did not discuss size of implants with my surgeon but did tell him what size breasts I would like. I only knew what size implants I was getting during the operation when he had put the sizing implant inside my boob and told the nurse what size to get and I love my new boobs.
Your surgeon will have done loads of operations and will know what size will give you the look you want and what will look best on your frame.

I was going crazy looking at before/after photos before my second consult apt because you can have 5 girls, same weight/height with the same cc's and come out with a different look on all of them I'm 5'6 122 pounds, but have very narrow shoulders and wide hips. I'm going with 350cc Mentor HP unders. I was going to go for 375 but my PS said no way. I trust him to do what looks best for me :good: Just trust what the PS says, if it's the one you feel most comfortable with of course.

Oh, and can I please get a translation lol? What is stone and how does that compare with weight in US pounds?

vmac - there are 14lbs in a stone. At 122lbs you would be 8stone 10lbs. I am 9stone 4, so about 130lbs

1 stone is the equivalent to 14 pounds in weight hun. xx

I'm an A cup and just a bit taller than you and I've been offered everything from 230cc to 325cc. I'm definatley going for something between 250cc and 290cc. 300cc might not look very natural.

I've asked quite a few girls on here for their stats hoping that it will somehow reveal exactly how I'm gonna look post op, but I think it's just gonna be a big surprise! Well hopefully not too big ... or too small ... :teehee: Good advice from my PS was go by what you see in the mirror - I wore a tight white top over the implants (in a sports bra) and he kindly took some pics on my phone. I'm happy with how I look front and side, and whilst I understand they're gonna look slightly different once inside, that's the best idea i've got so far :good:

Also, I'd just add that it seems to be that the width of the implant is just as important as cc's, as it determines where the implant sits in the middle of your chest and ends at the sides. The projection (i.e. depth of implant) then determines the volume in cc's. My PS explained that he used my breast width diameter as the starting point for deciding what's best for me, but I don't know if they all explain it the same way Good luck, you and your PS will decide what's best xxx

ha ha, just expect to be that way until you get put under because eventhough I go in tomorrow @ 7:30 a.m., I'm still looking at pictures, sizes, profiles, and end results. I feel like I'm losing it, but I know that it will be all over with @ 10 a.m tomorrow

My first ba i was wearing a 32a...but was probably a 30b maybe 28c and got 295 high profile overs and came out initially a 28F/30E then put on some weight and just before my 2nd ba i was a 30F. Just had them replaced with 330cc and still a 30F.

Littleone, I wear 32a too, although I'm pretty sure I'm not, think probably 30 band, maybe a B. WOuld be more than happy if mine turned out your size, haha!!! Do they actually look an or F cup in clothes though?I'd like to look a D in clothes xxxx

From what I've figured out, what you start with (size & shape) height, shoulder & hip width all play in to the equation. I have tried implants (with two tight sports tops) on three times during appointments & due to the above factors 395cc was recommended & looked in proportion for my frame. I have another "try on" on Tuesday because I keep panicking about it but I'm 95% sure I'll walk out thinking - yes he REALLY IS right. Mum is coming with me :) I'm not little but I'm not huge either - 169cm tall, 70kgs (& need to lose 7kgs) I have wide shoulders & wide hips bones.

Just to let you all know, I went back to see my PS yesterday and told him I wasn't happy only being offered 240. 270 and 300 as I wasn't sure I'd get my D cup. So he had another look and he's reordered 300, 340 and 360! I'm pretty sure 360 will prob be just that bit too big, but I know I'll at least get 300 at the smallest depending on what he can fit, so fingers crossed I'll get my D cup boobies!!!!!!! xx

Yeah, that's why I will probably get a implant that projects more than it is wider, as I am quite slim.. Otherwise, it can stick out at the sides and look stupid.

What dress size were you before your BA? I wear a 32A but I might be wearing the wrong size..

I'd like to look around a D myself..
