I'm back! Whoop whoop! X
Hiya!
Well the kind booby fairy paid me a visit and I'm totally thrilled with my two new additions! I can't actually believe I did it! I have to admit I had a little blub in theatre before they put me under but Simon, the anaesthetic assistant was so sweet and comforting with his words and gentle reassuring touches on my shoulders that o fell asleep knowing I was being well cared for! Next thing I knew I was awake saying "I'm awake! I need a top up, put me back under!" as I was convinced I'd woken up mid op! Think they had a little chuckle once I'd come round a bit more!
I instantly felt a sharp pain where I'd been cut on my left boob and it also felt like I'd been doing push ups as the tops of my arms and shoulders hurt, but all in all I'd say the pain was about 7/10 and luckily it's been lessening throughout the afternoon.
I'm really proud of myself and desperately hoping my recovery is swift with no complications. I'm yet to actually see my new babies so I'm unsure how my nipple asymmetry is looking but I'm not overly fussed about it, I'm just happy that I have some fullness and shape back!
Thankyou so much for everyones support, it's amazing how fond I've become of you all in such a short space of time. Oh my, I'm going all emotional now! Silly woman aren't I!
With love, one very content Dee Xxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks ladies! I'm still in hospital, just about to tuck into a curry! Apparently I should be discharged around 8.30am tomorrow morning, then it's just a two hour journey back to sunny Wiltshire! X

DeeDee - I live in Wiltshire!!!! (and it's not sunny!! :teehee: ) CONGRATULATIONS on the newbie boobies I was thinking about you today and looking forward to hearing from you. Rest up now you'll probably be in and out of sleep it's all very strange for a few hours after the op. You will sleep well tonight though....wondering if you have ice sat on your boobies like I did....it's funny cos I never felt the cold! x x

They didn't give me anything for sickness, think I'm quite lucky with GAs, I just tend to get a bit emotional and a tad bit dizzy. Alls ok now though! Xxx
