In real need of reassurance - help ladies.
My op is on Wednesday and I'm soooo incredibly nervous. I know it may sound silly but it's the drive and arrival at hospital and time in there waiting for my op, the walk down to theatre and being a willing participant by lying on the table waiting and s&@ting my pants waiting for the GA to kick in. I'm sooo nervous about the whole thing.
I really need some strength, positive vibes and any advice you think might help me.
Help......xxx

Take some time to read the BA stories sweetness, reading how happy all the ladies are after their surgeries will soon bring your excitement back!
Re: In real need of reassurance - help ladies.
Hon honestly don't stress. Try and look forward to the day and think of the outvome. I calmed myself before leaving for the op by having a lovely hot shower and doing my hair. Then I had a nice trip across London and to the hospital. Take some mags to read while your waiting! x

Re: In real need of reassurance - help ladies.
I too was worried about this, getting to the hospital on time, getting lost, parking in london etc which is why I arrived 1 hour early and went for a walk around a nearby park, I was nervous, but as soon as I woke up that morning a strange calmness took over, I was so determined to have it done and that it was what I'd always wanted that I just gave up being nervous and just started to think whatever happens happens. Sheer determination will get you through the nerves and excitment for new boobies will give you strength. You will be so proud of yourself when you wake up with your new boobies. Enjoy your day hun.
Re: In real need of reassurance - help ladies.
Try to focus on the outcome hun, rather than thinking about nerves. It will all be worth it when you have your lovely new boobs.

Awww Deedee
You will be fine, these last minute nerves your are having are completely normal. I had all the same feelings... I actually thought I was getting the tummy flu as I was so nervous I was making myself sick!
Everything on the day will be calm and so much easier than you can immagine.
Keep focused hunni, it is sooooo worth it!

Try not to worry too much Deedee - I was really nervous before my op last Saturday, but it will all be over before you know it so try and enjoy your day and focus on your lovely new boobies!!!!
Take lots of magazines/books to read as op schedules do not always go to plan and you may end up hanging around in your room at the hospital.
Last minute nerves and fear of the anaesthetic are quite normal - I was petrified! But everyone at the hospital will be lovely to you and to them it is all very matter of fact and something they do every day of their lives.
You'll be fine hun - just enjoy your day and concentrate on the outcome xxxxxxxxxxx

Re: In real need of reassurance - help ladies.
Good luck, my op day was just like my wedding day, there was so much to do and so much going on that I didn't really have time to sit and think, also the excitement and thought of what I would be getting at the end pushed all the nervousness out the window. Have a great day.

Hi Deedee, I know I will feel just like you nearer the time - I think it's a good sign that you're going into this with your eyes open and have thought it over loads! On the days when I have doubts I get out mags and catalogues and look at the beautiful clothes, lingerie and bikinis that I wouldn't feel confident in now - I'm soon feeling excited again, good luck xxx

Thanks ladies for all your really supportive posts. I feel very comforted and I know I just have to focus on the outcome rather than the process - think a bit of mental adjustment and relaxation is in order tomorrow, the eve of my BA....!

I'm being done on Wednesday too - have been really excited but now starting to feel anxious and stressing out about sizes. I'll send you good vibes if you send them back to me! Good luck, we'll both be fine! x

Hi puffle, who is doing yours and where? I'm going to transform abbey riverside with dr Chantarasak. I'm having overs and torn between 330 & 380. I'm 5 2" and 9 stone with 34 a/b boobies at the mo so I'm hoping I should be ok with either size. What size and placement are you going for? X

Re: In real need of reassurance - help ladies.
Thanks everyone - still feeling nervous but no way am I backing out now! I'm going to Methley Park in Leeds, Deedee - I'm torn between 345 and 385 partial unders. I'm 5ft 10 and around 10 and a half stone, currently a 36A. I don't think there'll be much difference between the two sizes really so would probably be best to go for the bigger - that seems to be what most women are saying... OMG am I really doing this!?! x
