Pre/post op remedies

Hey ladies!few weeks away from op so preparing myself!iv been recommended by my surgeon to take arnica herbal remedy 24 hours prior to surgery and 2 weeks after to reduce swelling and bruising.however there is no dosage so I don't no how many tablets to buy!also is there any other remedies or creams/lotions etc to take pre/post op that people can recommend?and did anyone use arnica?if so what was ur dosage?x

I used arnica can't remember what the dose was but it was in a purple tube from boots and I took one a day for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after my BA. I just followed the directions on the tube. I was just told to eat healthy and not eat garlic for 2 days before my op and not take any pill for 2 weeks before my op. I used bio oil and palmers cocoa butter on boobs for 2 weeks before and for months after and everything turned out great. I'm not sure whether anything I did made a blind bit of difference, but it made me happy to feel I was giving my boobies the best chance possible. plenty of rest after your BA also helps great with healing.

i used arnica and vitamin c for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after on the advice of my nurse.
