Question for girls with removed PIP's Empty Question for girls with removed PIP's

Post by Vix 14th October 2010, 8:21 pm

Hi Ladies,

Fo those of you who have had PIP's removed, can you let me know if you had histology tests done, either on the implants or your tissue? I am trying to find out what is standard practice. And also let me know if you were allowed to take your implants away.
Am feeling like i have been duped but not jumping to any conclusions just yet.

Thank you xx

Hey Vix,
Hope your recovering well from your re-op and feeling better. I didn't have any test done or take away my old implants. I didn't really ask about this however as i was out of my aftercare so chances of me getting anything from Harley Medical were slim. Are you planning to take legal action?
I have my 3 month check up in november so am going to ask my surgeons advice if i need to worry about any post pip side -effects but he said my op went really well so am hoping i will not suffer any long term damage xx

I've got my implants at home incase solicitors want them tested.
I also have a huge lymph node in a pot for histology, need to see if my gp is happy to have it done on nhs.
