Which of these bras are right?? Empty Which of these bras are right??

Post by tanyajade 12th October 2010, 6:54 pm

Hey girls, wondering which of these two sizes are right. I'm still in my sports bra. 34d is very snug but wearable. When I take it off I can see the indent of the bottom of the cups ever so slightly above my crease (which would tell me it's too small). 34dd is much more comfortable, but my boobs look wider like they're getting less support...which one is right? Xx

Do they feel like they aren't getting enough support or do they just look less squished in? xx

Have you tried a 36D, sometimes if you go up a band width then that makes a difference to how the cup fits.

I found that if a shop didn't have a 32D the usually a 34C would be ok.

Hope this makes sense x

Yes I think that's right bblondiiie, if you go up a cup you go down a band size so a 34D is the same as a 32DD or a 30E.

Bblondiiie is right - if you go down a band size, you go up a cup size and vice versa. If the 34 band feels comfortable then maybe try a DD instead of a D.

I would stick with the 34dd Tanyajade it sounds like the 34d is a tad small and the 34dd should be ok because the band fits you ok and the cups aren't baggy xx

Peachy, I have had exactly the same dilemma - lines above the crease and along the sides of my boobs . I'm in a 34D Sports bra as well and was wondering the same thing. I tried on a DD in another style, because they didn't have my size in the one I've got and it was definitely more comfortable, but wasn't sure if I was supported enough either.

The question is, because a sports bra is supposed to compress, and therefore have the indentation lines, where should they actually be?

Thank you girls... It seems like they swell up and get bigger as the day goes on too! I should just carry around 3 different sizes of sports bras! xx

I think aslong as its supportive without being restrictive you are on the right track. It shouldn't be loose on wither the band or the cups xx
