How did you all feel?
Hiya ladies - this is my first real post and I'm so nervous starting out on this scary but exciting journey. I'm just wondering how you all felt when u started your journeys and were u all 100 percent sure right from the start or did the idea grow on you? Iv got a consultation at the end of the month and I'm so nervous about the risks but equally excited about having nice boobers. Looking forward to reading your posts. Dee x

Re: How did you all feel?
Hi Dee
and welcome to the forum, I was very nervous when I first decided this is it I am going for it but it is something I had long for since having my second child and lost the little I'd had and gone to a tiny 32A, I was fed up of chicken fillets and a friend of mine had hers done and once I had someone to ask lots of questions who could give me real answers thata was it decision made, and I had never looked back.
I just wish there was a site like this that I had known about because the girls on here are fab.

Re: How did you all feel?
Hi and welcome to the site.
I wanted my boobs done for a long time and when it finally came time that we had the money and I started researching, I was excited. I did have a little bit of nerves but it honestly is the best thing I have ever done. I wish I had found this site a little earlier in the process, but it was good to know that all the things I was going through were normal.

Re: How did you all feel?
Hi Deedee,
I was never 100% sure I wanted to go through with it, I was sick with nerves even going to my consults! The last few weeks leading in I was all over the place one minute excited the next sheer panic... I actually thought the weekend before the op I was coming down with a tummy bug but I was just nerves... so you are completely normal to feel nervous, having a BA is a big desision and it is an emotional roller coaster... but from where I am now it was TOTALLY worth it!!!! I did a lot of needless stressing as the whole thing was easier than I though and although I still have weeks or recovery ahead and my life is a bit turned upside down (needing help with kids, cant clean the house yet ect) its only temporary and in 6 or so weeks time life will go back to normal only I feel so incredible about myself now.
If you want it... you deserve it.... and use this forum to find support... it really helps!
Good Luck!

Re: How did you all feel?
I wanted it for a couple of years and felt like I was sure, but then when I actually booked consultations I was excited but at the same time that's when the doubts crept in, and real worries about the risks.
I just went ahead with everything even though I was scared, because I knew I wanted nice boobs really and I would have been gutted if I just dropped the idea after wanting it for so long.
I'm pleased I went through with it, it's the biggest thing I've ever done for myself and it's been so worth it. xx

Re: How did you all feel?
When I decided a BA was what I wanted I stormed right in to get one! LOL... yeah, I knew the risks and they did me nervous but when I weighed up those risks against my want for my new boobs - The boobs won!
Re: How did you all feel?
I must have sent for a transform brochure every couple of years for the last 15 years. In September I plucked up courage to research things in more detail and was lucky to come across this forum, I had my first consultation yesterday and am still hoping for Xmas boobies (depending on whether surgeon has recovered from his knee op - but have been researching other local surgeons and hospitals today).
I was so excited just by going for that first consultation - this time I am going all the way and going to have real boobs in my bikini next summer (not ones that gape when you move or dribble pool water from the padded cups all day)!
Welcome to the forum - you will be so knowledgeable when you see your consultant after a few weeks reading and posting here!

Re: How did you all feel?
I had thought about it previously when I was younger chickened out and my boobs went up 2 cup sizes all on their own and I was happy for a few years. I then had my 3 children who I love to bits but they ravaged my boobs after breast feeding all of them so I decided to go for it a few months ago. Once I had made my decision it was about a 2 month turnaround from decision to having the boobies and I'm so glad I did it. x

Re: How did you all feel?
Hi Dee
After having 3 children and breast feeding i lost alot of fullness, although i had thought about having a boob job years ago never done anything about it then my daughter had her's done may 09, i said then i wouldn't have them done as i saw her 3 days after she had it done (as she lives across the water from me) and she was in alot of pain and it put me off, then in July she came over to visit and she was sending off emails to lots of consultants and asking prices for me and pestering me to have them done, she was only here for a wk after she had gone back home i started to get replies from the emails she had sent out from my email address, so i decided to follow up the emails and next thing i know i had my constulatation and booked in for the 31st aug for my BA, wow it was quick about 2 and a half wks from consultation to getting them done. But i'm so glad i did and havn't looked back.

Re: How did you all feel?
I had wanted a BA since the age of 16, at first I didn't have the money, but eventually after many long years I was able to afford it. Even though I had wanted it that long I was always nervous of the risks so can't say I was 100% but I knew I wouldn't ever love my boobs as they were.
Re: How did you all feel?
I wanted a B.A from the age of 15 & had my parents support. I got pregnant young & decided my children had to come 1st so although I was deserate to have a B.A I had to wait 11 years.
I had my 1st real chance of having my b.A 5 years ago & the nerves got the better of me so i went out & spent the money then regreted it!lol & couldnt believe what id done so when I got my second chance I new what i had to do but I have to admit the nerves were still as strong as the 1st time round when i bottled it! but i new i had to do it.
I think the fact that i had my husband, mum & dad & brothers support really helped me & in the end i went to my G.p & he told me he would refer me on the NHS & that he could totally understand my reasons for wanting my op so with everyone backing me i managed to stop feeling guilty about my children & put myself 1st for a change & as a 1 off it was one of the best things i have ever done. I didnt wait to see if i could get my op on the NHS as i had the money & id already waited 11 year so just booked private with the help of my G.P. He was great & checked the company out & made shore i had a surgon with the right qualifications.
I feel so much happer in myself & and in way more confident in how my body looks, not to forget tops actually fit me now.

Re: How did you all feel?
I think once you have the 1st consultation you'll know if youre 100% sure or not, defo dont go into anything if you arent sure babe. Plenty of hell and advice available here though, its nice to have people with you every step of the way! Dont think i coulda done it without the support of the ladies on here!!x

Re: How did you all feel?
I'd always wanted BA from being 18 and every time I went shopping with my mum I'd say I'm getting my boobs done especially bikini shopping! 10 years on after coming back from a beach holiday in the Caribbean I eventually started to research properly and book my consultations. I was very nervous but I'm the type of person that when I'm serious about something I do it and it's the best thing I've ever done!!!

Re: How did you all feel?
I didn't hate what I had I just wanted BCB (before children boobs) back so when I made the decision I moved quickly. My biggest fear was a complication and that after the op I wouldn't like what I saw but thankfully that never happened, I am happy I did it.

Re: How did you all feel?
I've wanted bigger boobs since I was 16 and finally got them recently because I knew that it'd make me feel happier and more confident about my body. I never felt comfortable wearing a bikini or clothing that revealed cleavage (unless I was wearing a padded bra). What refrained me from getting them earlier was the thought of how painful it'd be but it's been 8 days since I've had my new boobies and I'm very happy I went through with it.
