Sunbeds???
Would I be ok to use sunbeds now you think??
Aslong as I keep them covered?
I know this sounds daft, but the heat wouldnt do the implants any damage so early on will it haha

Re: Sunbeds???
Personally... and this is just me... but I'd wait until 6 weeks post-op before you start on sunbeds.
The reasons I say that:
Your skin is stretched and won't actually be back to normal elasticity for a good few weeks. Goin on a sunbed could really cause skin damage.
Even if you cover up scars, a small amount of UV will still be hitting them, which may cause discolouration.
Can you just get a lotion to tide you over for now?

Hi Hun!
I've got to get behind Roxychick, imagine how much thinner your skin is on the boobs because of stretching, it is in severe stress and trying to recover. If you go under a sunbed you might be risking hyperpigmentation etc on your new pretty boobs!
Another point I would like to make: Sunbeds are used by lots of people and you have two wounds trying to heal....I would be careful with what environments I bring them to (germ wise).
If you decide to go on a sunbed, I am sure the heat itself wouldn't do any damage to the implants.
It's up to you, but just think how long you wanted them and how important a good end result is to you?
xx

I wouldnt, you could damage your skin, prolong your healing, darken your scars, etc. Ive never understood paying good money for boobs then wanting to fry them, wrinkle them early and increase skin cancer risk :S

Re: Sunbeds???
Independently from being sunbed fans or not, I think the girls are right, I would avoid them for the first 6 weeks as your skin is stretching and the scars are healing (even if covered they would get some UV rays anyway like RC says) and you really don't want to risk doing any permanent damage!! x

I agree with RC hun, i would wait a bit for your skin to stretch and settle xxxRoxyChick wrote:Personally... and this is just me... but I'd wait until 6 weeks post-op before you start on sunbeds.
