Boobies so sensitive
I'm 2 weeks post op today and my Boobies are feeling very sensitive, even my clothing touching them is making them feel sore. Also my incisions are aching a bit now. Is it normal to have 'dimpling' along the incision? I have dissolvable stitches and they feel a bit sore lately. The incisions have closed up but they feel so tight like wearing a tight bra that's cutting in under my boobs.

Re: Boobies so sensitive
Yes i have exactly the same sensitive feeling on my boobs especially when putting my clothes on or even against the duvet! Its kinda like that sunburn feeling that alot of ladies on here describe.Im four weeks post op tomorrow and its much getting better. My incision ached alot too so dont worry as natalia says its pretty normal.I found neurofen helped the ache as i had it alot a night when trying to get to sleep xxx

i can sympathise with the sensitive feeling - it's horrible. my incisions still itch but not so achy in the last few days.

Sorry to hear about the sore boobs Astrapuss, and just wanted to say I love the pic of your cat, whenever I see one of your posts it reminds me of the pure black cat we used to have. :good:

Re: Boobies so sensitive
Ours was from the RSPCA and a real charater.
Yes I think I am all sorted now, it's just very frustrating that I have to go through all the nervous emotions and starvation again, this has been going on for almost 12 months now and I just want the PIPs out so that I can hopefully starting sleeping properly again, it's really not nice waking up to numb boobs because I've turned slightly on to my side.

I bet you can't wait to have it all done and dusted! It will be a relief to get rid of those PIPS!
Sleeping must be hell for you, I'm back to my normal sleep position now and it's so lovely to be comfy and cosy again! Hope the 19 days go quickly for you.

Re: Boobies so sensitive
if you have been given the go ahead to put things on your incision, maybe try massaging your scars with Bio Oil (or similar), this should help with the tightness you are experiancing as the scar tissue forms.
and yes, it is also very normal to have sensitive boobies at that stage, mine are still a little sensitive but things are slowly coming back to normal, it just takes a little tim hun x

Re: Boobies so sensitive
Well I'm halfway there. 19 days since I should have had it done and 19 to go. The last 19days have gone pretty quick it's just a case of keeping busy and not having time to think about it.
Glad to hear your feeling better and getting back to narmal :good:

Re: Boobies so sensitive
it's such a strange feeling. i bought an underwire bra today - going to try it on and see how it feels. need to ease myself into it - so nervous about putting wires next to boobies but i need to face the fear!

Re: Boobies so sensitive
My scars are much more comfortable now, I had a good look at them today and they are fading beautifully. Skin on Boobies still a bit sensitive at times but that seems to be improving too.
