Hope you don't mind me asking but why do you need a re-op? I'm very early days with a wonky boob and I know its likely to settle just wondered about when it doesn't and timeframes etc xx Thanks

Re: WONKY BOOBS - PLS HAVE A LOOK
Of course I don't mind hun. Mine was not right from the start I noticed that one was high up and firmer very early on, they both dropped but one did not drop as much as the other, the higher on also distorted a lot more than the other so i could tell it was the muscle holding the implant up.
My surgeon first said wait until 3 months and then we can decide if re0p is needed - I did wait and it did not really improve so he agreed that i needed a re-op. I could not get in due to work commitments etc so I am now nearly 8 mths post op and it is still not improving so I am sure i want to go back for another op.
You are very early days hun and so many girls have this as most boobies settle at different rates!

Ive still gone wonky nips!! I don't think mine have improved either but I'm trying not to worry too much and will see what my surgeon says when I see him on 14th oct.
Hattie - how did you know you needed a re-op. Were your boobs like that straight after your first op ?? Would be interested to hear. Xx

Yes there was a slight difference straight after my op. By 3 months i knew it was not going to improve. It wasn't just one sitting a little higher though it was obviously the muscle holding it up i could/can feel it and my left distorts a lot more than my right x

Ummmm. My left is sitting a lot higher too. Would you mind taking a look at my photos to see if yours were like mine please ? I'd really appreciate your opinion if that's ok? I'll PM you my picturetrail details.
May I ask how your surgeon is gonna fix this? And are you having to pay for this ?

Re: WONKY BOOBS - PLS HAVE A LOOK
Sure I'll take a look hun but as you can see by everyone mentioning it on here, it is very common to have uneven boobies at an early stage and fairly rare that it does not sort itself out.
I don't want to frighten everyone in thinking they will all need re-ops just because mine stayed up there! Mine was a) not right from the start - that breast bruised a lot and was a lot more painful than the other and i still get pains when i use that muscle a lot.
My surgeon is not charging me for a re-op, it is not yes decided what he will do, I would like to change to overs but I will go with his advice. x

Hattie & CJA my right is sitting higher and tighter with an oval shape rather than round - has you can make out from my pics.
Sorry to hear you need a re-op Hattie - would changing to overs be your only choice there?
Will PM you

Re: WONKY BOOBS - PLS HAVE A LOOK
Hi hun, I don't think you have anything to worry about they look absolutely fine to me hun, they were even straight after your op so i think one is just taking a little longer to drop than the other and this will happen in time.
I don't know if changing to overs is my only choice but it is what i want because i hate the muscle distortion i get - even on my good boobie I cannot get used to it.
