I used to have a spoonful a day to help with my stomach after having helicobactor-pylori (sp), but never heard of anyone putting it on scars...it would be very sticky. xx

honey
hiya i had to use honey when my surgeon cut through my skin by accident i had to wear a honey dressing over my cut/whole to help with the healing process, it had to be healed from inside out so had to wear honey dressing for 2/3wks, so it is good for healing and worked for me.

hi
Well basically i had 460 p/unders but one came out from under the muscle, so i had re-op to correct this. Surgeon said so it doesn't happen again to take one out that has remained under and put it over when he was doin this he cut through my skin making a hole at the top of my cleavage.janeybird wrote:Ouch Candypie hope you dont mind me asking -whats your story babe? one over one under due to surgeon mess up?? what happened?

As he done this he couldn't continue with the op so left me with one under and one over still which i have been like for past nearly 3yrs.
I did have the option of him re-operating on me again but i asked for different surgeon which they would not allow. i didn't feel comfortable with him operating on me again especially after what he done.
HIs attitude was terrible after and he told me to get a tattoo to cover scar which is about the size of a 1p, and about the fact he left me with one under and one over they looked like compleatly different boobs he said don't look at them too much!!!
Iam suing him which can take along time (another 2yrs) but in mean time my lovely hubby took out a loan so i could get them fixed, i am now 4days post op and have just had 690 anatomicals put in bu different surgeon, both p/under. matching boobies after nearly 3yrs!!!
sorry for long message its hard ton put it into few words......

I Know this post is a bit old now, but just learned something about Manuka honey so thank you. I didn't know it was good for your tummy! And sorry to hear you had a rough time Candypie, I hope that doc gets what coming to him, unprofessional and unskilled ugggh. May I ask the name of the surgeon so we can avoid him!!

Manuka honey in the form of a plaster covering strip is mean to be great. I know it's not a BA but my boyf had an accident which resulted in 2 huge scars on his leg and used these manuka strips and it healed amazing. His nurse sweared by them. I reckon it would wrk well with boob scars too. Also off subject but aloe Vera juice helps healing xxx
