Appetite post-op
Did anyone else loose their appetite post op? I don't if its just me trying to be healthy or that my med's have killed my appetite.
I remember waking up from op and craving sweet (with sweetner) tea! I have kept this up all week. My mum has nicknamed me teatank! Lol. x

Re: Appetite post-op
I have lost my appetite but put it down to the bloating and not been active.
I usually run or do some sort of excersise every day so my body is probably not burning the calories as usual. I am making sure I do eat though, lots of fruit and veg etc to keep healthy and hopefully aid the healing.

I totally lost my appetite too - it just felt really weird to eat - almost unfomfortable in my throat and chest - think it was a combination of the weight of my new boobs on my chest and the tightness of my sports bra. I felt like I couldn't take big mouthfuls - if that makes sense? I'm pretty much back to normal now tho.

Re: Appetite post-op
I was completely the opposite - a week pre-op I was over eating out of nerves and post-op even with the bloating and constipation I was eating out of boredom!!
Hence my 6lb gain!!

Same here ceejay. I ate more or less what I wanted out of boredom and because I thought I "deserved" it having been so brave! I'm regretting it now

Yes im with you on the sugary tea thing!! It was the first thing i wanted when i got back to my room and carried on when i got home, think it helps when you feel a bit wiped out from meds. Didnt feel like eating much at first but now trying not to eat too much either without the gym. .Started walking more now thankfully the sitting about does get you feeling sluggish xx

Let us know how you feel getting back into it. It feels really strange not excercising, I have been eating all kinds of puddings and chocolate this weekend

Hey, I normally do the following: -
Mon - body attack
Tues - Balance, combat & pump
Wed - spin or spin & pump or combat & pump
Thurs - Pump & balance
Fri - Spin & balance
Sat - combat, pump & balance
Sun - Pump & spin in morning and then spin & combat in evening.
Going to change my routine big style when I go back as I have been doing too much. x

Re: Appetite post-op
Hi,
I lost my appetite after my op. It was probably due to the fact that I felt so bloated and was on painkillers.
However, I was only on pain medication for 3 days and after that I was back to normal!
